Could anyone please share with me the wisdom and knowledge of basic courtship? How can I woo without sounding lecherous? If anybody can help, thanks, all this has me in a state not unlike that which my avatar is currently afflicted with.

Men are born to be lecherous laugh Just do what comes normal if you don't she will find someone that will, or she will think you are gay and still find someone, Read the signs thats all I can say drinker drinker

I'm no expert (if I were, I wouldn't be on here laugh ), but just be yourself, be polite and above all be honest.

Myself? If I did that then Id be sending poetry to her nonstop, or complimenting her beauty for as long as I had the will to do so. If I temper that, Im limiting myself. If I dont, I risk scaring her off as bieng to wierd.

Your wisdom is logical though and that I wont deny

What's wrong with sending poetry and non-stop compliments?
If you have to edit yourself, then she is not right for you.

I havent even known her for a week. Wouldn't it be better if she was at least comfortable with me before I send notes of affection?

Yep, there's always the fear of coming on too strong too quick (something I seem to do too often laugh )

Just try and play it cool - but DON'T try to be something you're not.

Ive read the the thing. I found it enlightening. I just dont like the thought of courtship as something followed in steps rather than something that had more of a romantic feel to it.

I'll tell you right now that you're trying to put the cart before the horse or whatever they say

So courtship is a logical process of steps rather than something thats a bit more enigmatic?

u gotta understand the process before applying the passion

True that, Experience, Patience, and Observation. The trinity of understanding.
