I've read many of your posts, Vanessa, and posted in one of yours last night. You seem to be such a very giving and caring person.

You will never regret the time with your mother and after she is no longer with you, you will have those moments to cherish. Having done the same for my mom and losing her in January this year, I know there is no greater love than that of a mother.

Take care of yourself while taking care of your mom. May God watch over both of you and keep you in the palm of his hands.

That's very kind of you. I don't know where we would be without the military fighting across the world to protect the way we live, the freedom we all should cherish. I only wish it could be done without all the bloodshed...in a perfect world.

I too agree with what TJN said, having friends and family in the military. It's not an easy time for military personnel nor those that are left behind to worry.

Popping in for a few. Hello all

I have been remiss in posting due to long hours between work and the hospital but have talked to Deb and Merle. Prayer for Jackie is still very much needed. She remains in the hospital but has been undergoing limited physical therapy for her upper body, mostly her arms. She has been able to visit with her four children today and it went well for the older three who are 5, almost 4 and almost 2 but Alexis is only 7 weeks ago and seems to have forgot her mom because she screamed when we tried to let her mommy hold her. We've been told she could remain hospitalized in some form up to six months but she is trying hard because she wants to be home with the kids.

Thank you and I will let her know. Bless her heart, I had been worried because it has been a bit of time since she has been on and had hoped she might have posted here but I could tell by her writing that she was not feeling well.

Hello, just wanted to let you all know that I got a brief email from Rose. Not good news, I'm afraid. Her surgery was not successful and she will be going back in for another. I will post if or when I hear again.
