It's that time of year again




when I'll be traveling up North

to visit with and help care

for my precious Mother

whose legs are so crippled,

she cannot walk


She is so loving & gentle & kind


& if you love me...


and think that i have a big heart ...

it is mostly because of my Mother

and the incredible love she has for me.


I thank God for her and for all my Family

and so much for all of my on & offline friends

I ask you please to keep a special place

in your heart, thoughts and prayers for her

and i ask that you please keep me there too...




I try to be all good things to all people..

and oftentimes

i tend to spread myself so thin

that i just seem to spin my wheels ~

i need to be much more effective ...

& i probably suffer

from that adult attention deficit thing ,

although i have never been diagnosed as such...



and my computer is so stone age...


but by the grace of God,

and the love of my Good Buddy Rob

whom i've known for over 6 years

a Wizard of a computer tech

and the nicest State Worker I know...

is upgrading my computer...

He is the one who so graciously

built this one for me years ago



soooo, reluctantly...

i have decided to deactivate for a little while

so i can focus on the priorities i have now..

and so my mail doesn't back up again...

don't worry, I'll be back

and I won't deactivate for a few days,

maybe not until he comes

to get my computer on Friday..

I am so fortunate to have all of You...

My heart just overflows with love & gratitude

I've read many of your posts, Vanessa, and posted in one of yours last night. You seem to be such a very giving and caring person.

You will never regret the time with your mother and after she is no longer with you, you will have those moments to cherish. Having done the same for my mom and losing her in January this year, I know there is no greater love than that of a mother.

Take care of yourself while taking care of your mom. May God watch over both of you and keep you in the palm of his hands.

Have a safe trip. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I also would like to say that taking care of our mom is the most rewarding task you can do. I took care of my mom as well. She passed away in 1990, and I miss her more and more everyday. GOD BLESS YOU!!!! Take care dear friend.
