Hey Bella !!! I agree.I just had someone not want to be my friend anymore because I disagreed with something they said. How fickle is that? I did not lose anything but kept respect in my corner. I keep saying that human kindness is not talk,but a call to action to respect your fellow men and women.Oh well, their loss not mine!!!

Good morning all! Weather is lousy here today...COLD, windy and snowy.. Not as much snow here though as farther north..and the farther you go toward the Cleveland area the more they have...hope they keep it!! I'm headed for a nap so I can get warm ...later Oh yes, I have another date on Thur, weather permitting ( he has to come from up north..)
Good luck with your nap and your date. Both of those are good to have for one's soul. Naps energize and dates make you not single if they work as they should..........

In response to a request, this forum will for those who are serving right now who are stationed anywhere in the world. This is also for family members who have loved ones serving now in the war on terror. I am looking for stories from people who are unique because they are serving now. This is not for people who are going to voice their opinions regarding dislike for war. I wholeheartly support this effort and it is my sincere hope that the troops who are serving everywhere and their families connect here with love and support. Thank you for everything you do.

Funny this same subject came up in a conversation I was having on the phone with someone the other night.  Hummm found out that guys are not holding the doors open for you just out of politeness it is so they can check out your azz as you walk in.....In the long run making them look good as well....

How RUDE Can People Be?!

I have lived in my apartment building for over 7 years now. People have come to know me in the building. I just went out to walk the dog forgetting my key to get me into the building. People that know me are sitting there in the lobby just watching motion to let me in. Watching me as I buzz a friend to let me. When I finally get in the people that were watching me try to say Hello to me and be all friendly. I just wanted to say f**k you. Apparently it is hard to push a button to open a damn door. 
It is called being selfish and self centered. Ugly trait in human kind butvery much alive.

Proper spelling and punctuation are important. You can lose the correct emphasis on words if you don't use grammar correctly. I saw this in the newspaper a couple of weeks ago, maybe this will help folks understand the importance of good grammar: A sentence without punctuation was written out like so: "A woman without a man is nothing" A group of men and women were then asked to add proper punctuation. Most men would punctuate it like this: "A woman, without a man, is nothing." Most women would punctuate it like this: "A woman; without, a man is nothing." So as you can easily see, if you aren't using the proper rules of speech, others may think you are saying something completely different. Just something to think about. [/qoute]  |
