can you direct us to an actual QUOTE of what she said? I cant imagine any candidate saying anything remotely that blatant, but I can imagine people paraphrasing what they did say. Perhaps he was talking about her rant on twitter when she attacked Mr. Crowley for taking corporate money, for not living in the district and for looking increasingly unlike the constituents of the Bronx and Queens he was elected to represent. |

"freedom of speech" has NEVER equated to consequence free speech. funny thing is all intelligent people knows this..... next You have the right to call your boss a jerk to his face, that's your freedom in the United States.
you also have the right to call a police officer names too, and to tell the person working at the I.R.S they are fascists, but there are consequences Working for a dictator, does not fall into a protected class of people as defined by discrimination laws in the United States.
Which causes me to wonder, now that the Cow has Secret Service protection, will they have the legal authority to prevent someone from refusing to serve her? since there are no dictators in America your point is moot |

If I think anything about one of the people I hate, it’s being sad for the person they could have been. But it’s not sypathy for THEM. They made choices and maybe one day they’ll make better choices, but they don’t need to ever come my way again...that’s all. Just go away...be gone...poof!
![]() I have zero empathy ,sympathy for rapists, child molesters, violent racists, terrorists and anyone that has the ability to take human life for pleasure. Those people I hate with every fiber of my being. I may dislike people or despise them but I wish them no harm. |

That pretty much describes it Shybutkind.
and in my opinion, Hate is healthy as long as one isn't consumed by it and is out to harm the person they hate. I know I dont go out of my way to harm those I hate but at the same time if they met an untimely demise I wouldn't shed a tear either. |

In my area neighborhood, all people have cars. And there are not any illegals I Know of mostly white few minorities. Illinois license Illegals. . Most all have cars. Only one man has a scooter but I think he cannot drive for some reason. In my area. Chicago has so many undocumented immigrants and the mayor wants it to be a Sanctuary City. He's a Democrat. Ive never understood why Democrats wants illegals to have drivers licenses, what is next a passport with limited status too? At least in my country Illegals cannot get a health card, drivers license or Temporary SIN # . |

You still don't seem to understand what I am saying. For example: No, I understand . I disagree with your use of the word "fault" here, especially since I don't say it is capitalism's "fault" that what happens, happens. The "news outlets responding to what the public wants," IS CAPITALISM INCARNATE.
You kind of do insinuate that Igor, just in a cleaver way, hence the capitalism incarnate comment. Capitalism is a MECHANISM. It is an artificial creation of whoever utilizes it, and it consists of whatever they decide it consists of.
who is they? Capitalism does not have a "wisdom component" to it, unless a people decide to insert one into it. No culture or nation I know of, does so, though a few occasionally try to do so on a case-by-case basis. This is why there are so many instances of short-term profits or savings being chosen over long term dangers and consequences.
Ive never said it did, the market decides that, and what you are describing is "cronyism" Trump and the Republicans, just as the Democrats before them, have tried to cause American business people to make the choices that they wish, by manipulating the portions of the marketplace which they control. And just as happened to the Democrats, instead of making the political decisions that Trump and other Republicans said they hoped for, after taxes were lowered, and tariffs raised, business people instead made BUSINESS choices, for the sake of basic capitalism-based reasons. Just as they did when taxes were lowered under the Bush administrations. additional profits were not put in to raising wages or research into making better and cheaper products (in most cases), they were put in to stock buy- backs, and even into paying to build additional production facilities overseas, because, as basic capitalism dictates, that was the most profitable and productive thing to do with them.
Sorry you are all over the place on this Igor. What you are describing is cronyism, and cronyism has existed before the American revolution, during the American revolution, after the American revolution, during the gilded age, Pre World war one and two, during the economic boom of post world war 2, during the Reagan years and 90's dot com boom and it continues on today during Trump's reign. This is not what basic capitalism dictates, there is a difference between Laissez faire and cronyism. Off topic just like there is a difference between Socialism, communism and Marxism. |

I dont believe its true , its just people making up stuff about the woman.
I say let the free markets determine if Mrs.Wilkinson made the right move, if her business traffic goes down and she ends up closing shop, then she cannot blame Trump or the republicans for that, she has her self to blame. I believe everyone is entitled to free speech and their opinions but when you involved your lively hood you are taking a chance to that I say good luck chuck. I agree with you. However, in one instance, someone clicked the "Yes" button for interest, and clicked an "attracted to" button for a photo. I messaged her, mentioning some of the things she talked about in her profile which I really liked. The message was read but never responded to. This particular instance was very confusing to me. not really, you didn't engage in a conversation with her perhaps, telling her that you like the things she likes is what most guys do. If a woman likes skiing and its her passion, and you message her and say "hey , I love skiing too, we have that in common",what do you think she is going to say to that? beside whoopee do. Vs saying , Hey (insert name) I see that you like skiing, is that picture of you skiing taken at( whatever resort) or where was that taken , or have ever skied at( whatever resort) or the possibility that that person wasnt real either and just a game player, you just never know. |

It can get very frustrating when all you keep finding is fools gold.. ![]() I think most people shares your frustration Cgor, this is why the forums tend to be popular once people discover them. the majority on the forums tends to be real people, although they are looking for different things, its actually better way of meeting people, forming friendships and who knows what can happen after. I can tell you the first day on this site I had over 40 messages, all from women 20 to 27 and a few 18 and 19 year old can you say creepy and ewwwwwwwwww. Not one my age, not one from my country, just recently I actually had a message from a woman my age from my country and province, and I joined this site in early june of this year. Ive had more real conversations from people from the forums vs the dating site. So you have to take it for what it is a free site, and with free sites it attracts all sorts Just keep your head up and weed out the 99% whack-jobs , fakes, spammers, scammers and nut jobs |

You probably didn't see the edit I added about that, to try to clarify it. Expanding on it a bit, the news business is, first and foremost A BUSINESS. And AS a business, it has customers to please, in order to get profits. Just as capitalism's basics have always ignored whether or not a product or service is WISE for people to buy into, so too, because the PROFITABILITY of reporting the news isn't directly linked to factuality or to overall truth or insight, only to popularity, capitalism tends to drive news reporting to be based on what people are attracted to watch, rather than by what is truly important. One of the single BIGGEST reasons why news reporting is so bad these days, goes back directly to the shift that took place back in the seventies, from having news be considered a pure SERVICE that the media companies put on, to partially repay the government for access to the airwaves, and was declared to instead, be required to be a PROFIT CENTER OF IT'S OWN. As soon as that modern "business science" concept was put into place, our news shifted away from what was going on, to whatever titillated, or upset people, because if people are upset, they tend to stay through commercials. Well I take exception to the characterization of capitalism ignoring whether a product or service is wise for the people. Capitalism is just a system where market economies thrives or fails. newspapers are in the business of selling papers, just like news outlets business to report the news and get as many eyeballs as possible watching it. The problem is bad news , tragedies, scandals generally captures the attention of the audience more than good news and feel good stories which rarely captures people's attention. that isn't the fault of capitalism, its just the news outlets responding to what the public wants. The average person isn't going to pick up a newspaper or turn on CNN to see a story about a Policeman risking his or her life to save a person from drowning in a river. But they will pick up the paper or turn on the news when they report a minority getting shot by law enforcement or some celebrity doing bad and naughty things. Capitalism has nothing to do with that? every business whether in the private sector, public sector in a so called capitalist society or marxist Leninist society or so called socialist system profits, the question is who keeps the profits. |

Many people today, haven't studied the past enough to realize that news reporting has ALWAYS been susceptible to overt corruption, but even more of a problem it has been susceptible to subversion by fads, and by capitalism itself (that is, when it's PROFITABLE to feed wild stories to the public, we get more of them, whether any of them are true or not). I dont understand your capitalism analogy? what does capitalism have to do with it? There have been MANY fads in the past, where it became "fashionable" for reporters to look for corruption in government, or scandals amongst the upper classes, or fantasy conspiracies amongst the lower classes. Once such a fad takes hold, people start to see the corruption or the conspiracies where nothing but coincidence exists, and everything goes off the rails.
if you're a student of history as you claim Igor, you would know that journalism/reporters has since the election of the 2nd United States president has always reported gossip, rumours, stories planted by opposing parties, scandals etc, today it just more sensationalized because of social media. All one has to read is the newspapers reporting on the 1800 election between Jefferson and Adams, if you read those papers( you can find them archived online or the local library) you would swear you're reading the crap that was reported on the Hilary Clinton vs Donald Trump campaign One of the most ironic fads right now, is the fad of blaming "fake news" for any information people prefer to disbelieve. What I find most ironic, is that it is the people more to the RIGHT end of the political spectrum who want to pretend all bad news is fake news now. They are behaving IDENTICALLY to the left end of the spectrum people of the 1970's, who claimed that the entire mass media was a tool of the "establishment," and therefore never to be believed.
I think a lot on the right are frustrated with today's media, they are supposed to be unbiased and instead of reporting news they promote propaganda , you are correct with what happened in the 1970's from the left and how they were frustrated with the media. |
