What is a Mother?
A mother is joy. A mother is love. She is someone who is there to hold your hand who will always try to understand. She is the one who will be there not only as a mother but a friend. She will listen to every word that you have to say. She is your protector in so many ways. She will watch over you every night, and day. She will guide you and show you the way. She will discipline you to make you strong, but show you the love she has for you as she goes on. She will never turn you away, for you came into her life that one specaial day. No matter what disappointments that you may cause her she is there till the end. That is the speical love and kindness that a mother will alway give. |

The Lonely Cry.

The Lonely Cry.
Not again can it be? The emptyness that enfolds deep within me. The pain, the sorrow, has it no end? The joy that I felt has been devoured inside, and out. He took away the brightness all in just one day. Oh Lord this can not be. I can not go through this again you see. He promised no more games. Just like that it all turns to shame. The shame of believing, needing it to be true. My mind is so twisted with so many fears, and doubts. Only to be pondering what am I to do? To say forget it never will I again. Just say I only want to be friends. The lonely cry that is all muffled inside. How many more tears must I cry, before the one that will come along? The one that won't do me no harm. |

Mother Natures Song

Mother Natures Song
I was walking up to the river bed. I stoped and gazed just ahead. The sight was so beautiful, I stood there and took it all in. The trees were gentley swaying in the wind. I saw a mother and her cub playing up stream, as the raccoons were playing amongst the trees. The birds were chirping, and the squirrels were jumping about. I sat down and closed my eyes and listened to every sound. I heard the song's that the birds were singing, it sound like a soothing melody. You could hear the water rushing on. As I sat there I heard the night time song. As the wolves howled at the moon, you could hear the crickets playing their own tune. So if your ever out for a walk, just sit and take it all in. This is mother natures way of welcoming you my friend. |

Mine is turning 18 in a week, and I have a 15 year old. I do miss when they were younger.

Through the Years.
I have watched you grow. From the little one that use to bounce on my knee. The sweet little kisses, and hugs too. To how your eyes would light up when I would walk in the room. You grew right before my eye's. From wrestling with you on the floor. To hearing you say good bye as you walked out the door. From holding your hand as we crossed the street. To you telling me that I don't have to anymore, that you are growen. From your first heartach to your first date. To when you call saying I'm going to be late. Even though it is hard to do. I know that I must release you. I will cherish every memory that we have shared. To let you know that, I will always be there. |

The Storm

The Strom.
Do you hear that? The birds have stopped singing. Where is the light? The sun has disappeared. The darkness seems to consume everything in sight. The day has turned to nigh. The braches scratch at the windows so vigorously. The wind howl is sounding more like a growl, as the lightning begins. One flash, no theres two. The thunder joins in. What is that sound? Is it the branches hitting the window again? No the rain has joined in. First it was a soft rainfall. Now it's coming down with a vegeance, pelting everything in sight. As I sit there, it's like watching a show. With the lightning suppling the light, the thunder play's the music roll, and the rain puts on the performance that you hope won't end. The combination of the three sends chills straight through me. Before you know it, the storm is as an end. The sun is out, and the birds are singing again. What a perfect end. |
