The Strom.
Do you hear that? The birds have stopped singing. Where is the light? The sun has disappeared. The darkness seems to consume everything in sight. The day has turned to nigh. The braches scratch at the windows so vigorously. The wind howl is sounding more like a growl, as the lightning begins. One flash, no theres two. The thunder joins in. What is that sound? Is it the branches hitting the window again? No the rain has joined in. First it was a soft rainfall. Now it's coming down with a vegeance, pelting everything in sight. As I sit there, it's like watching a show. With the lightning suppling the light, the thunder play's the music roll, and the rain puts on the performance that you hope won't end. The combination of the three sends chills straight through me. Before you know it, the storm is as an end. The sun is out, and the birds are singing again. What a perfect end. |

Oh, the storm Sets me back in my chair, much like a visit to the tropical zone. Intense and very well said, especially, the lightening part supplying the light. Who needs Stephen King? Shivers....
