Ok, this is a true story but it was funny and at the same time kinda gross...

My boys and I watch baseball often. My oldest son, 8, has heard the commentator during gland slams yell,"Break out the rye, gandma, its grand salami time!", numerous times.

Well the other day he was in the bathroom, while I was in the living room watching tv. Out of nowhere he comes running up to me yelling," Break out the plunger, Dad, its jammed salami time!!"

Needless to say, I don't own a plunger!!

Ok, someone messaged me last night wanting to chat. I was busy with watching a movie with my boys. I asked if we could talk tomorrow, she said sure. I saw her online so I messaged her. She never responded and she read my message. I just don't understand. Can someone shed some light on this, please?


I was thinking she may not have believed me, but I don't lie and don't understand. I can't drop what I'm doing with my boys, to chat with someone, its not fair to my boys. I'm confused...

Not sure... I personally have never studied Islam, therefore I have a neutral view on it. I think its the ignorance vs. media vs. opinions, that draw poor perspective on any religion, not just Islam. I wouldn't worry too much, as there are strong opposition on any religion. Just feel good you have connection with your "god" (not sure the proper word so if its wrong its not to offend you).

One thing you should never do... settle for anything less than what you want when it comes to relationships. Keep looking and be patient. She is probably wondering the same thing, about meeting a guy just like yourself, right now. Be yourself and possibly look in areas where you hang out or would find common interests. Ex: if you are a book worm or a knowledge buff... heck I've seen some wonderful ladies at the library. If you are a techie, online is good. Just an idea...
