Ok, someone messaged me last night wanting to chat. I was busy with watching a movie with my boys. I asked if we could talk tomorrow, she said sure. I saw her online so I messaged her. She never responded and she read my message. I just don't understand. Can someone shed some light on this, please?


I was thinking she may not have believed me, but I don't lie and don't understand. I can't drop what I'm doing with my boys, to chat with someone, its not fair to my boys. I'm confused...

Maybe she didn't believe you.

If that's the case, forget her and move on.

People are impatient sometimes. If they can't get what they want NOW, they'd rather not have it later.

I din't have kids myself, but I think it's great you put your kids first,Wizard .

Your kids should always come first. I'd say it's her loss not yours.

Sometimes people who are insecure with themselves choose to believe what they want. Those of us that know you, know that you will always put your boys before anything else. If she chose to think you were making up an excuse so you didn't have to talk to her, then she isn't worth your time.

If she get's mad about something so simple, what else would she get mad about? Some people show no respect for others and only think of themselves.

MAYBE SHE READ THE MESSAGE AND SOMETHING CAME UP REAL QUICK AND SHE DIDNT HAVE TIME TO REPLY HUN!!!

Thanks Maxx!! Your words mean alot. My boys are my world. I have them about 60% of the time as I share custody with my Ex. Hard to find a gal willing to accept me as a package and understand my situation!!

Something similar happened to me - I IM'd him when I saw he was online.... he didn't reply and the message timed out.
The next day I asked him he said he already logged out ...so it seems there's a time delay between logging off and the "Online now" message?

Good advice though, don't be too distracted but it- keep going.
