And just to start things off here is my latest journal entry Dear Diary: I enjoyed my day at the park and seeing all the teenagers in various stages of puppy love and I thought, I wish I could drink from the fountain of youth. Then I say one of the teenagers blow coca-cola out of his nose so I then thought, we have enough youth. How about a fountain of SMART? |

Why am I not suprised by this reaction ... ? I'm not suRprised by yours ... just disappointed with the ignorant outbursts. and attempted strawman arguments relating to Socialism. Actually, unions need to disappear - they're just another Alinskyite mechanism for the advancement of Socialism ... the term 'collective bargaining' is a tip-off ... 'Collectivist' = 'Socialist' ... hint hint hint ... Unions have outlived any legitimate purpose can you see the attempted building of that strawman
they may have ever had you either know no history or just like to run at the mouth with implications to try and build your strawman argument … if you even know what that is
- they are strictly a collectivist enterprise designed to advance a political agenda and have NOTHING to do with making the life of the workers they 'represent' better ... All they want from the workers are the DUES ... nothing else matters to them so long as the money keeps coming in so they can support their DemoCom candidates ... It's time for unions to be abolished.

I'm alright, my blog is hitting off amazingly well for being in its infancy. Maybe I can make more money...who knows. Job interview? Sounds good. Hoping for the best for you, mate. I am feeling sort of bad. From what I have seen, this is supposed to be a happy forum. I hope I am not breaking some unwritten protocols by bringing up some of these subjects. It is hard to separate the advocate and activist within me from the person. So please do tell me if this should be discussed somewhere else. BUT just tonight, I have already learned so much about you that endears me to you and I would never have known if not for these subjects. So, is it bad form to be political here? We talk about EVERYTHING....so don't be afraid to show your feelings or just be silly!! Thank-you Jayne and Mary. I just wanted to be sure. And Carole, I am very sorry to hear about your brother. I will send a shout out to The Big Guy on his behalf. |

I am researching something now that you may find interesting. Jayne too since she lives in PA. Licking and Porter Townships in Clarion County, Pennsylvania made history, by adopting ordinances that eliminate a corporations ability to claim ANY constitutional rights as a “person”. This is something that the framers of the constitution intended but corporations started eroding the power and meaning of that wonderful document, almost before the ink was dry. Very interesting reading actually. If your forefathers were alive today they would be absolutely furious with both Democrats and Republicans. Corporations do not have rights, people have rights. Wonderful history "The Declaration of Independence" that has been perverted by big business and banking interests. Sorry, I will kick myself off of my soapbox. You should have seen the battle between US gov, DOW chemical, and Viet Nam Vets/families....guess who won and who got shafted. Excellent book out there called, Waiting For An Army To Die: The Tragedy of Agent Orange by Fred A. Wilcox. You should try and read it. Dioxin killed my husband and many other Vets and a lot of us have disabled /dead children too. Ouch, that is terrible. I will read that book. My Dad was a Korean War vet and I was an army brat growing up. He was wounded in Korea and has some nasty stories to tell. We lived for a time at CFB Gagetown where US and Canadian Forces tested both Agent Orange and Agent Purple, as well as other defoliants before we moved there. I have done quite a bit of reading on this subject and know what you are talking about. Tragic really since so many soldiers were exposed. Canada is way behind the US is providing any kind of compensation to veterans. Continual state of denial. I am so sorry to hear that your husband was taken away and how it happened. |
