I respect that,,kudos to you

I just see the moviemaking and music making process as more than a one man deal,,,so many people are involved in and count on income from that cd or that movie, that I cant quite jump to boycotting the whole product because ONE of the people involved doesnt fit my personal moral code

I was gonna forego seeing Salt for that same reason, dont care for what Angelina did with brad and generally dont care for her roles either,,,but then, my brother is a screenwriter/actor/director, and I Realize that seeing that move is not about supporting angelina but also about supporting the person who wrote the script, the other actors and actresses, the staff,,etc,,,,

Excellent point that I never gave much thought to before now.
I have learned and will practice this new viewpoint from this day forward.

Thank-you msharmony

I was commenting not responding. There is a difference.

Is that the way it should be, just shut out anyone not from the Fox mold? Ever hear of the concept "Freedom of speech".

what is the fox mold? can we shut people out of it? how do you know about fox if you dont watch it?

I never said I didn't watch Fox, you assume too much.
The original poster requested I stop reading his posts and I reminded him I was free to read and comment or respond.

The Fox mold is simply radical conservatism. I was not intending "mold" to mean a fungus. Mold was supposed to mean that once a mold is cast, all products of that mold are the same. Most (not all) people who believe what Fox has to say are predictable in their social and political views.

Is that more clear for you? I regret the confusion.

I watch Fox on occasion as well as CNN, BBC, CBC and other news sources. I would never get all my news from one place. Now that is fair and balanced.

Colbert is a fantastic choice. Too bad you only get to see him evenings after "The Daily Show"

I'm lucky, I get to see my love every week.

I do have a picture of him in my room.
(:

Over your bed?

A picture is good.
If I was a woman, I would love Colbert too. Then probably Jon Stewart if Colbert rejected me for you. (Which he soooo would) happy

I have struggled with the same question. There are some artists where I won't watch their films, listen to their music or visit their art exhibits because on past crimes and ethical choices. I am selective based only on my own morals.

BUT, when it comes to crimes against children and especially sexual crimes, I must take a zero tolerance stance. There is a tremendous amount of good art out there so I would never miss their work.
However, I do not judge or condemn anyone who continues to enjoy these works of art. That is a personal choice.

I will say again, when it comes to crimes against children and especially sexual crimes, I must take a zero tolerance stance.

Cheney has a heart???

Really?????surprised

That man has a lot for our country for the past 30-40 hell 50 years. I don't care if you like him or not it's nit right to attack soemone who is in the hospital with a fatal condition.

what did he do? he was CEO of halliburton, the company that builds oil wells...

Hw was a CEO of a company that employed a lot of people and created jobs for millions. Not only that he was an intern for Congressman William A. Steiger during the Richard Nixon Administration. He then joined the staff of Donald Rumsfeld, who was then Director of the Office of Economic Opportunity from 1969–70.[14] He held several positions in the years that followed: White House Staff Assistant in 1971, Assistant Director of the Cost of Living Council from 1971–73, and Deputy Assistant to the president from 1974–1975 Chief of Staff for President Ford, a 5 term Congressman, House Minority Whip, Secretary of Defense under President H. W. Bush and Vice President.

He has done a lot for America.

Those are simply posts he filled, cut and pasted from wikipedia or Fox. Can you tell us in your own words "What he actually did for America"? No cut and pasting now.

Started to stamp out the fire in "The burning bush" until Moses said, "Stop that. I think it's a message for me."

I don't wish anyone harm and he will meet his maker at his own pace. Unfortunately for him, history will judge and condemn him with extreme prejudice. I hope his family will not have to live with the shame.

I hope it rains tonight. Those idiot people that live behind me have been outside playing loud music and laughing and talking really loud all night long.Plus they have this stupid bonfire going all night too.I am choking from the smoke from it.I don't have an airconditioner so I have the choice of suffocating or choking to death....so rude!!!!

I am not a fan of rude, ignorant neighbours. I have to go now. I am watching a movie with a friend.
Have a great night Betty. Hope the rude neighbours decide to go out instead.

I just found out that today was MuslimFest at The Living Arts Centre at Square One area. That was a good time last year. I like the food and would have liked to go again but I forgot all about it.

oh thats too bad you missed it.I have never heard of it though. But the GTA area always has some kind of "Fest" going on

It is mostly Arts and Entertainment but last year they has some samples of free food. The cost is $25 which I am not going to fork over right now.
