It's not a bad idea for the schools to teach etiquette, but unless the parents reinforce it, it won't be effective. It does need to start at home. Too many parents these days want everyone else to do their jobs for them. I agree, it does START at home, but school is a great environment to Re inforce it. I agree. In other words, it seems to be backwards. It starts at home and the school can help reinforce it. Not that they teach it and the parents think that is good enough Only one problem with this... who's going to teach all those parent's who never bothered to learn? |

Except that the media is fast becoming a big joke across the country. About time they got told off for being biased! I still haven't found many people who take the time to consider both sides of an argument, but I wish there were more around!
Have to say, though, I think it's funny when people call up Roger Hedgecock and have no clue... he actually tries to listen before he tells them off! It's so funny... give me an example, or proof, or even something that indicates you have a clue... and of course half of the people have nada! |

My son turns 15 in April. I told him I would take him to Magic Mountain a while back for his birthday. Me: So, did you decide if you want to go to Magic Mountain for your birthday? Son: Yeah, that sounds fun. Me: Do you want to bring a friend? You don't have to hang out with me. Son: No, just you. It'll be fun.

Well, that depends on several things. Honestly, the man should offer, if he is being a gentleman.
However, in some cases it might make more sense for the woman to travel. Thus, they should discuss it and agree on who is travelling! Or maybe meet in the middle for a vacation-date! |

As for the distance issue... My Account, Settings (far right part of the submenu), mail settings further down on the screen, then Limit who can send you mail another step down.
You can set a distance limit that way of 50, 100, or 150 miles. |
