As I have said. I have been to the Taste of Addison, but never to Mayfest. So I am game for either. I don't care when, as long as everyone is game. Yeah, I definitely just copied and pasted to see if I could get anymore feedback. Haha. I vote for Mayfest then, so we can all do something new and it seems like there are some really great bands. How does that sound? That is next weekend, so may not be enough notcie...... |

Ok, I have been doing some research and there are 2 festivals in Dallas area in May that sound pretty fun. There is Mayfest:
Mayfest Apr 30-May 3. Enjoy rides, games, art, and food along the beautiful Trinity River. Six stages will provide a variety of live music. A Battle of the Bands will be held for local talent. The Mayfest Run will be held on May 2 and has a USATF-certified 10k and 5k and a 1k fun run for the kids. Mayfest is celebrated in Trinity Park between I-30 and West Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth. Admission costs $8 for adults, $5 for children 6-12, children 5 and under get in free. and Taste Addison: Taste Addison May 8-10. Fri 5 p.m.-midnight, Sat noon-midnight, Sun noon-6 p.m. Enjoy food, music, art, and carnival rides. Taste Addison will be held in Addison Circle Park at 4970 Addison Circle Drive in Addison. Admission for adults is $10 after 5 p.m., $5 before 5 p.m. Parking is free at the corner of Dallas Parkway and Arapaho Road. Discount tickets can be purchased at Metroplex Tom Thumbs. Curious this evening...

I have fake nails and get pedicures every two weeks. It is more of me time though than anything else. It gives me a chance to make an appointment for something to where I have to go. I know myself and it's nearly impossible to just have "me" time to myself unless I have an appointment to do something specific. It's so worth the money.
