Not a disease, it is a choice and not a very difficult one at that. You grow into the habit of solving your problems with alcohol it becomes a chore to find another way to deal with that problem. I've been drinking since I was 11, the most was a span of three years from 18 to 21...I quit. Not a difficult decision to make nor the most impossible choice, now I drink on occasion maybe once or twice a week and not that much...again it is not a disease you do have a choice, just have to decide whether your going to listen to that part of your brain or not. wrong it is a disease if you dont have it you dont know |

being a recovering alcoholic .. there wasnt a day i didnt go without beer... been sober since oct5 2007 but smoking i cant give up..mybe in a year..
