i quit smoking yesterday.. and my nerves are like .huh i plan to stick to this.. anyone else try to quit.. have any advice??

I quit smokong 11 months ago. It was tough after smoking 1 1/2 packs a day for 35 years. From my own personal experience I know that you have to want to quit and only you can do that for yourself. For me it was minute by minute....after about a week it was hour by hour....day by day....month by month ...now I get cravings but very easy to deal with. It is true about water ...if you get a craving have a sip of water....it helped me. A toothpick to chew on helped for the most part. The best part is after even 2 weeks you will notice you can smell and taste things properly again and start to feel better.
Change your usual habits like your morning coffee....just wait a little longer to have it. I wish you good luck and hope it works for you. If you don't make it the first time try again until you make it.

Actually ran into this firsthand:

Guy: Can I buy you a drink?

Girl: Look, I already have one asshole in my pants why do I need another?

To this day I still don't have an answer.
