Give it up.

Drop the bundle of baggage that you are lugging through life.... GIVE IT UP.

Seriously, we can wander through life, with the filters so thick on our eyes, we cannot see two inches in front of us, or we can have instant surgery,

ok? who else her besides myself thinks that Jess needs to get laid and have some nookie thrown on Her , laugh please raise your hands.........drinker

so how do I seem interested and not come off as being pushy?

Jim

this has red flags all over it why do you want to get involved with some one coming out of a divorce just because she is done with it doesn't mean She is over it. don't become the "Transition Guy" . Just be her friend for say ......if you really like Her just back off for a few months.

Alanis Morissette - Everything

I can be an asshole of the grandest kind
I can withhold like it’s going out of style
I can be the moodiest baby and you’ve never met anyone
who is as negative as I am sometimes

I am the wisest woman you've ever met.
I am the kindest soul with whom you've connected.
I have the bravest heart that you've ever seen
And you've never met anyone
Who's as positive as I am sometimes.

You see everything, you see every part
You see all my light and you love my dark
You dig everything of which I'm ashamed
There's not anything to which you can’t relate
And you’re still here

I blame everyone else, not my own partaking
My passive-aggressiveness can be devastating
I'm terrified and mistrusting
And you’ve never met anyone as,
As closed down as I am sometimes.

You see everything, you see every part
You see all my light and you love my dark
You dig everything of which I'm ashamed
There's not anything to which you can’t relate
And you’re still here

What I resist, persists, and speaks louder than I know
What I resist, you love, no matter how low or high I go

I'm the funniest woman you've ever known.
I am the dullest woman you've ever known.
I'm the most gorgeous woman you've ever known
And you've never met anyone as, as everything as I am sometimes.

You see everything, you see every part
You see all my light and you love my dark
You dig everything of which I'm ashamed
There's not anything to which you can’t relate
And you’re still here

And you’re still here
And you're still here...

Don Mclean Vincent (Starry, Starry Night)

Starry, starry night.
Paint your palette blue and grey,
Look out on a summer's day,
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul.
Shadows on the hills,
Sketch the trees and the daffodils,
Catch the breeze and the winter chills,
In colors on the snowy linen land.

Now I understand what you tried to say to me,
How you suffered for your sanity,
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen, they did not know how.
Perhaps they'll listen now.

Starry, starry night.
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze,
Swirling clouds in violet haze,
Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue.
Colors changing hue, morning field of amber grain,
Weathered faces lined in pain,
Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand.

Now I understand what you tried to say to me,
How you suffered for your sanity,
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen, they did not know how.
Perhaps they'll listen now.

For they could not love you,
But still your love was true.
And when no hope was left in sight
On that starry, starry night,
You took your life, as lovers often do.
But I could have told you, Vincent,
This world was never meant for one
As beautiful as you.

Starry, starry night.
Portraits hung in empty halls,
Frameless head on nameless walls,
With eyes that watch the world and can't forget.
Like the strangers that you've met,
The ragged men in the ragged clothes,
The silver thorn of bloody rose,
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow.

Now I think I know what you tried to say to me,
How you suffered for your sanity,
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen, they're not listening still.
Perhaps they never will...

well i don't mean to be biased but the man's love and familiarity and fondness for Native American Art is and was something to behold.

to say anything that he was passionate about art would fall short.

All true Yo but I'd rather focus on the Man he was and what He did for art and artists as far as bringing applied arts to the for front stages as to what the public considered Art.

he was one of the first to think outside of the box.

well besides the group of 7 of course.....laugh

Well !!!!!!!

I for one was utterly devastated when I realized She had closed Her account.

What ever Her reasons for closing Her account I hope they were positive , maybe had to catch up at work or family.

Hopefully someone can keep us posted I have emailed Yokoke to ask Her if She has had any correspondence with Her to pass on My best.

Her witty posts and shining intellectual brilliance and flair She gave to Us in the threads will be missed.

PS: If I find out for any reason She left was because some one was being mean or miss treating Her I will rain a fire upon them of bible proportions that will shake the foundations of the Internet as We know it.!!!!

Brains We love You hope to hear from you soon.
