The most recent excuse is we bailed them out in WWII but they folded after 9/11, that's why so many Americans dis the French. Sad, really. Yes it is. |

I guess that's how it works when your filthy stinkin rich and a spoiled brat...that last plane incident, well that's what that guy was doing, being belligerent, running his mouth. He just happened to be from Nigeria not a rich mouthy old broad. He had murderous suicidal wishes. She just has has anger issues I spose. Not that guy..he was arrested for attempting to blow up a plane. I'm referring to the one just the other day. He was making frequent bathroom runs and being obnoxious. He wasn't charged, he had no device on him.. he was sick and had a doctor tending to him when he was taken off the plane. He was released.. maybe Ivana just a had a few drinks to calm her down before the flight and she can't handle her booze, maybe she is just an angry drunk. That makes sense. |

So you can be a complete idiot and have your own show. You have to be really out of it to think Obama is a racist. Fox has to much of a political leaning. They hire strange hate mongers with unintelligible babble and give these guys their own shows. I just want news reported as facts and no political leanings or commentaries like the ones CNN is imfamous for. Wow that is awesome! |

Metallica..(pre black album), now that was f*ckin metal. \m/ Yes it was. Kill em all is a classic and Ride The lightening was simply epic. To bad they sold out though :( The new album is alright but not as good as the first four. What do you think about Testament or Megadeth? How about Anthrax? |

The last enemy
By Arch Enemy [Lyrics/Vocals: Angela Gossow, Music: Michael Amott / Christopher Amott] Fearless on my final quest Find truth beyond the flesh Fleeting past my dreams of unfulfilled desire My strength unwavering My journey just beginning A desperate race through the corridors of hell Chaos emerges – Surrender I will not The Last Enemy Is Falling Here I am – To Conquer Death Itself The Last Enemy Is Falling Here I stand – To Conquer Death Itself Funeral silence beneath the burning cross My immortal soul sleeps with the wolves tonight Shin and bones that rot, my blood runs dry See me die to rise with the gods again [Harmony – Michael & Christopher] [Lead – Christopher] Defy… Decay Arise again [Harmony – Michael & Christopher] [Lead – Michael] Chaos emerges Surrender I will not [Melody – Michael] [Acoustic Outro – Christopher] |

Worst Baby Name Trends of the Decade by The Name Lady (Subscribe to The Name Lady's posts) Dec 25th 2009 11:00AM Categories: Weird But True, Baby Names, Opinions Here at Name Lady Central we see names of all stripes, from the common and conservative to the wild and woolly. Most of them, even the woolliest, are chosen with love by well-meaning moms and dads. But a few name trends from the past decade have crossed the line. Here are the Name Lady's picks for the worst name trends of the decade: Selling Your Baby's Name To The Highest Bidder Did you hear about the expectant parents who put naming rights to their new baby up for auction on eBay? In fact, you've had plenty of chances to hear that since the year 2000. In the sell-from-home decade, several families have seen baby naming as an opportunity to pick up some quick cash. This year, one determined Arkansas mom re-listed her unborn son's name auction five times. Her goal (unmet) was $20,000 to help pay the household bills. Some of the eBay parents have seemed genuinely desperate, while others may have just been out for attention. Before you write them all off, consider one thing they had in common: They were trying to sell a name that belonged to somebody else, not their own. That makes them fitting emblems for a decade when more and more parents started treating baby names as creative fashion accessories. Giving Your Baby A Corporate Trademark Name There's a natural overlap between product names and baby names. Parents may be attracted to a name like Sienna for a girl for the same reasons that Toyota was attracted to it for a minivan. But since the '90s, the brand naming of babies has reached new heights. Labels like Nautica, Lexus and Armani have joined the ranks of America's top 1,000 names, and almost no popular brand seems off limits. At last count, four American boys sported the name ESPN. The U.S. doesn't regulate baby names, but the more we bestow corporate trademarks on children, the closer we come to a brave new world of naming law. What does it mean when a corporation owns the rights to your name? What will happen to little ESPN if he wants to be a sportswriter, or to Nautica if she tries to design clothes? Using Names As An Excuse To Make Fun Of People Name insults are as old as schoolyard taunts. In this decade, though, adults have elevated baby name bashing to the level of blood sport. Whenever a new celebrity baby is born, the world waits with bated breath to tear the name to shreds. (In reality, most celebrity babies have perfectly normal names -- Henry and Ava are favorites -- but what fun is that?) The most toxic name bashing uses names, real or invented, as a sly way to make fun of whole segments of our society. For example, one of the hottest Internet stories of recent years is the dubious tale of the girl named Le-a, pronounced Ledasha because "the dash don't be silent." The most common version of that story concludes with the commentary, "And we let these people vote." Making Your Baby's Name A Tool To Advance Your Agenda In December 2008, the Campbell family of New Jersey made international headlines when a supermarket bakery refused to write their young son's name in icing on a birthday cake. The rejected name: Adolf Hitler. The parents expressed shock and dismay at the store's decision, but it soon became clear that they knew the score. The supermarket had rejected the Campbells' requests before, and they had pointedly insisted on both first and middle names on the cake, not just Adolf. In short, the parents had set up a media event, using their child's name as bait. Their whole Nazi-named brood and swastika-filled living room were soon being beamed to news outlets across the globe. How long before more zealots of every stripe follow suit, naming their children as living billboards? Here's wishing us all a new decade of loving, well-chosen names. Parents get creative, then the kid gets picked on all through out school. My mother shared with me all kinds of embarrassing names she was considering. Fortunately I lucked out and did not become a boy named sue or anything like that, but some children are not so lucky. The child named Adolf Hitler will probably have it rough everyday of his life because of his parents close minded views on race. That is worse than being named Sart, Mart or anything that ryhmes with a bodily part or function. What ever happened to common names like David, Johnathan or Andy? |

I know some were pissed off because France didn't want to be part of the invasion of Iraq... I guess they had their own stuff to deal with at the time. Being allies means we are cool with each other but we do not always have to agree. This time The United States and France didn't agree on something. It is like fighting with your parents because they won't let you go to the movies. But you don't hate them for it. You just move on. |

Ivana Trump, the first ex-wife of billionaire Donald Trump, was escorted by sheriff's deputies off a flight Saturday afternoon at Palm Beach International Airport after she screamed and cursed at children, authorities said. Trump, 60, of Palm Beach, was seated in first class and apparently became irate because children were running up and down the aisle and screaming, Palm Beach County sheriff's officials said. Trump, who last week filed for divorce from her third husband, has not been charged in the incident. The FBI declined to investigate, sheriff's officials said. Flight attendants on the LaGuardia-bound Delta flight told deputies that they tried to calm Trump by offering her another seat and headphones. Trump instead became more belligerent. The plane was just leaving gate C1 when the incident occurred, and the pilot decided to pull back to the gate and call for help, officials said. According to the Sheriff's Office, Trump used the "f" word toward the crew and passengers, including children. Officials said she began screaming in vulgar terms for children to shut up. Deputies asked Trump to voluntarily exit the plane, but they said she refused numerous times. Deputies then "physically escorted her off the aircraft," officials said. Deputies said Trump repeatedly cursed at them as well. Trump's driver picked her up at the airport soon after. no charges files, no mention of the kids parents too much left out and open for interpretation Was she right in scolding, yelling at children? NO Where were the parents of these screaming kids? Why were the kids running around right before take off? HMMMM what do you think? Rich, powerful, people with money and a voice in society and the means to substantially mould the world around them and shape their destiny into near perfection and this is how they choose to live their lives. It sickens me. |

Seriously why do people hate the French? I understand that their government has done some bad things in the past involving their colonization of other nations and underground nuclear testing. But when people tell me they hate the french they do not give me reasons such as those. No, they just hate the French. No reasoning, no logic. I understand if you hate the government, but the people too? It just seems illogical to hate an entire ethnic group. People got mad because they would not help us in an illegal war but they have their own interests to worry about. Plus they gave us the Statue of Liberty as a token of our shared friendship so we should be grateful to them for that. I know that our cultures may clash but we are all human beings with human characteristics. We are all more alike than we are different. So again, why do people hate the French?

Relocating for love.....
|

Go West, young man, Go West! The west is best... I would relocate for love...there are a few places I would not want to live though. Vegas is fun, I wouldn't want to live there. There is an entirely different part of Vegas the tourists never see. South Dakota is very cool... Montana is really awesome, if ya don't mind the cold and snow. And Wyoming has some nice spots as well, even some smaller town in Idaho are nice. I'm kind of leaning towards Oregon myself. I loved Seattle when I lived there..it's too big a city for me now. Was fun 20 some years ago. For the scenic views of nature I would probably enjoy the west most of all. Would New York be a good place to relocate to if I did relocate for love? It has tons of people all packed together so I would be forced to socialize on a daily basis. |
