My point exactly, not showing a picture to me is hiding. Show off who you are and someone out there will find you attractive.

I agree, I want to see who I am emailing. Besides, you wouldnt want to date someone who looked like the Hunchback Of Norte Dame with a club foot and an ear missing.
People shouldnt hide.

It does seem to get harder to find someone when you get older. They sets standerds to high for you and you set standerds to high for them. Over the years we have done that to weed out the unwanted. Expectations seem to be to high to achive and to must distrust in the opposite sex leaves us struggling.

I wish it would end but dont think it ever will

Im 32 and I hate being alone. I hate not having someone to wake up with or falling asleep with, not having beautiful eyes to stare into as they speak to me.
On the flip side, Im using this "alone" time to re-evaluate what I want from a relationship and get some personal growth done.
Its up to you on how you want to see it and handle it.

I dated a girl who is Bi polar, I have to say it was extremely tough to enjoy being with her when she wasnt on meds. I know I shouldnt complain because I have a luandry list of mental illnesses too. Im Bi polar/ acute schizo affective disorder, cyclothymia, ptsd, and to top off the cake; borderline personality disorder.
I like the world I live in in my head... sometimes. I do know the differance between fantisy and reality, I do a good job of keeping an emotional balance... and this is all without meds. Life is tough having problems like this but its not the end of the world. As for me dating someone who is Bi polar, I would but I hope they are on the proper meds because if not, we may clash. No one has ever told me that I am a wack job, just alittle depressing sometimes.

We all want that perfect person, that includes a perfect mind. No one is perfect anymore.

Just looking for people to talk to in the Appleton area. Also, does anyone have any good ideas for what to do on a date in this area?
