I am attracted to intelligence. If I am smarter than my man I usually leave and end the relationship. Well I usually leave and end every relationship so I guess I have yet to find the intelligent man. I like to have discussions and toss around different thoughts about different topics and if a man can't hold his own view then whats the point. Well the issue here is on both sides. For example a reporter that is only supposed to report still controls what will and will not be reported along with the editor. So leaving out key elements of the story and reporting without emotion does not equate to fair! Look at the negative reporting done on Obama compared to Bush in reporting and you will find the numbers are quite slanted and vise versa. Even if the reporter was completely objective in his reporting the volume of reports make a bias! So the point is in some peoples opinion objective reporting is a lie, it just does not exsist period! So if you agree with that premise in which i do it's about knowing the position of the news outlet that really matters. Ofcourse their is profit motive too that needs to be taken into account! But knowing a man has a conservative or liberal slant before i listen helps you know what the slant is! The fact liberals deny their slant and claim the right is bias is bogus. Fox news does not hide the fact they are a conservative news outlet, only that they are willing to debate any topic and give the other side a voice unlike the liberal shows! Gets old watching a monotone inteveiwer fawn over a so called scholar on his rhetoric and they declare it reporting without ever challenging the validity of anything he says! I do not equate emotions to fairness it makes no sense at all! Although my studies of phsycology prove that monotone speak creates reception and is a valadation of truth in peoples minds. So the monotone speak only adds to my feeling of bias by the mainstream media not detract from it!

I could care less, if the neocons go ape sh** over a book in which most of the contents is her whining about Mccain's people then that means more work for me. I don't think it's all that big a deal I remember Howdy Doody pushing Ovaltine Howard Stern pushing Snapple so Beck is pushing gold but I DO think its too late to cash in on the gold rush the stuff is up to like $1100 a oz? crap cocaine is cheaper Yeah i kinda agree with you. The problem is when a conservative is speaking politics gold is just a known shelter. So if he didnt mention it in his commentary it would be fine but the fact he does makes it a bit contraversial. I say "a bit" because Gold is a standard investment and fairly safe unless your getting near retirement. So i personally don't buy crap because someone told me too and most conservatives are pretty frugal but they have a point. Quite weak if thats all they got on Beck though! I like him he is cool, a bit unhinged and a little paranoid. But beck will say things others are too afraid to say! He just tends to bark up a lot of trees, sometimes he is spot on and sometimes i think a little exagerated! His tree of associations on Obama is remarkable and very well done! |

Well never said it wasn't an op ed post and said absolutely it was. But in that report it gave dates, facts, documents and so on. The facts quoted and stated within the opinion is what i was refering to and you knew that but it's not about that is it. It's about ignoring facts and finding an excuse to do so! |

The democrats are the party of the Trail of Tears they have morphed and evolved snce then but that is their origin Yes i am nearly one half Native American and remember going to the reservations . Many Indians would not use twenty dollar bills because of how Jackson slaughtered Indians wholesale! Another example of the blood on their hands! The democratic party founded on Slavery and Dead Indians! Yet according to some says it had nothing to do with slavery the poor southerners where just misunderstood.
