Love the small towns myself I live in a small town. Its not all its cracked up to be sometimes.

I'm almost a Texas people... as of the end of October! lol Ohhhhhhhhhhh yeah where ya living now? Altus, OK. About 30 miles north of Vernon. Where yah movin too? St Jo. A dinky little town between Gainesville & Wichita Falls on 82 (north central). Population 600 or so... more pot holes than street. Sounds like a grand place to live...

its also a beautiful thing when a mother or so called mother pays child support. its for the kids ya know Are there women out there that actually pay child support? I have had custody of my three children since October 1999, and I have never received a penny of child support, and dont really care as long as she maintains her current state of involvement (or lack of) in my childrens lives.

I'm ready for the weekend already.... My oldest son is playing in his first college baseball scrimmage on Saturday. I know its only a scrimmage, but still exciting for me.

Oh, my son told me that his school had 182 people out today for the swine flu!!!! My daughter told me that in her English class on Friday they had 7 of 28 kids present, 75% of the class out sick. Its getting pretty bad here. Hey KC nice to see ya in the thread should join us more often....Hope you had a great weekend,, Worked half the weekend, then my daughter had a 4 hour softball practice on Saturday, so my weekend was pretty much a bust.

Absolutely not!! Is that the kind of role model you want your child to have? I went through the same situation about 10 years ago with my ex wife. She was threatening my children and doing drugs openly in front of them. I got a protective order slapped on her, and, although it took two years and a lot of money, I got sole custody of the kids with her only having supervised visitation. The things she did really harmed my daughter mentally. (she was only 5 at the time) To this day, my daughter, who is now 15, will not speak to her mother, and if she happens to see her in public, gets extremely upset to the point of hyperventilating. So I say NO! If the dad cannot be a positive role model, do everything in your power to keep him away from your child.
