He adressed the crowd at Yankee stadium during the 7th inning stretch
today. There was a press conference after the game. It's official, The
man is back.

There had been a lot of speculation in this direction ever since his
buddy Andy Pettitte signed with the Yanks during the off-season. I'm
glad to see Roger back in the game, the man is a true star and asset to
the game, and I have always loved watching him pitch. I hope he hangs
around another 10 years.

It's good to see him back in a yankee uniform but i don't think he will
help them win the east. The Yankees need pitchers that can deep into the
game so the bullpen doesn't get worn out,They need more middle relief
already. The pen is tired and needs a break. Clemens is not going to
help that pen. Will Rodger go 7 innings every start win or lose? 45
years old and still throws the ball hard, yes 7 innings win or lose
highly unlikely. I am a Yankee fan don't get me wrong but some of that
money could hav been spent on middle relief an not just to keep Rodger
Clemens out of a Red Sox uniform.

To be honest I am a Mets fan. I would love to see if he is scheduled to
pitch in the 2nd Subway series. I know he probably won't be ready for
May 18-20 series.

Why?
He,s rich enough, and the aging yankee,s can,t win a championship with
him.

Roger knows that the Hall of Fame makes the decision as to which "cap"
the inductee wears into the Hall. He won 192 games with the Red
Sox...more than half his total wins. He is trying to put a Yankee cap in
the Halls mind.

Will he help the Yankees? Probably. Is he worth the money? Probably not.

Come on the Yankees always buy the entire team------I'm always glad they
lose in the end.

I wonder how the other players on the team feel about him being able to
come and go....Only showing up the days he is to pitch.

Was it 28 million for 1 year? Holy cow batman. That old arm is not worth
that much anymore.
