IMO more likely to seek pleasure and take advantage of all the pleasure we can; also more likely to have less pain romantically-since pain should decrease with each lesson learned, and each respective relationship should improve. In other aspects, yes pain is unavoidable so a person makes the most pleasure that they can.

Being romantic to me means being in tune with your heart, and honouring where it directs you; exploring it; and being authentic with what it feels.

It means the little things that are done for another purely out of wanting to give.

It means being able to receive because your SO feels complete when he gives as well.

Romantic- can it be defined as being dramatic and in love at the same time? Sure for some- for the ones who tend to be dramatic.

There have been some good responses about both online and offline dating. I'm going to expound on the online dating since it seems that this is what you are steering your question toward (?).
This is simply a visual medium , so you need to put out as much info as you can, while staying ultra positive.
Sometimes we get burned out by humanity- and we need a break- then , ironically, it is humanity that pulls us back in when we are both mentally and emotionally refreshed.

Take a break from looking.

Take a break from dating.

Just have fun online and get to know people as friends.

You will see another side to people and hopefully meet some friends who will grow into relationships- who knows?
