It happened around 3am cst last night. I made a few posts in a 10 min span and in each I was immediately unable to edit them. Now it seems to be back to normal as the edit option is now back when I post. This is issue has something to do with spooky ghosts around here for sure......  .

Giving is a human kindness towards humanity . Most people who beg have serious mental or other problems . I do not care what he or she does with the begged money because the look of human asking for help is something extraordinary .My principle is help the person for the sake of humanity and the rst is history .

That's what I said....the Catholic Church invented "All Hallows Eve". Now they don't like it? 
I do not agree with the church teaching on many issue but here I think the church is right for a change : the commercialisation of Halloween is just ridiculous and let one wonder how stupid traditions make people follow them even to the grave . I came back from Wal Mart and people are there as if it is another Boxing Day.....not excatly but you got the idea .  .

This idea came up in another thread, but since the topic of that thread is interesting in and of itself, I wanted to allow for this side discussion's growth - if need be. 
I want to be shown the evidence of a designer of the universe. You know what the problem here is.....people have a hard time believing all this wonder around us and in us could be an accident..lol That the right elements came together at just the right time to start the evolution of life in general. There has to be a grand purpose to it all. Just living is not adequate. Even an accident does not just create itself by itself and it needs elements to fulfill its occurrence . Also look to how things follow the same pattern of life aspects . Although humans are not all the same but they all have the same organs, enzymes......etc .  .

Damn...I thought you are talking about the forgotten people who do not make to the news like the homeless, the very poor, the weak, those who can not defend themselves.....etc . The media are neglecting millions of news from all over the world and they just keep feeding us the baloney of non sense .

There is no afterlife. Admittedly, that may shock some of you. However, a hereafter is at best a nice fairy tale and at worst a giant hoax on most of society. This life is all you have. So, make the most of it.
Unless you know this to be a fact, why state it as such? Isn't that just as big of a hoax as any other hoax? 
A far better speech would have been to just suggest that it doesn't matter one way or the other. I certainly agree with many of the attitudes that you have suggested. But still, your absolute claim to the truth of the idea that there is no afterlife and that this life is all we have, is dogma in it's own right. So why preach something you can't possibly know to be true? You're just as bad as the religious fundamentalists. 
He is convinced 100% that there is no sfter life so this is a fact fro him although others might or might not share his statement . The after life mythology in all religious sense is to give rewards to those who follow the dogma hoax . Thanks James . |

The need to believe in something would not imply this thing exists . We need lots of things that might or might not exist . My biggest challenge and dilemma about a God or a creator is and always was : if he created me then how did he come to exist ?. There is no reasonable answer to this scientifically or philosophically or religiously . |
