I'm just trimming down the CS-related posts so we can keep the
discussion to a minimum. Yours wasn't selected for any particular reason other than I'm just trying to consolidate. |

Devin - this type of post is NOT allowed. You may not post attacks or
accusations against other members on the forums. If you have an issue with someone, use the Report Abuse button to let us know and we'll investigate. That is the ONLY acceptable way to deal with an issue you have with another member. You just got back from suspension, so please make sure to adhere to the rules... Mike |

Would you go back to CS?

Hi everybody,
Thanks so much for all the sentiments here and the expressions of respect for Vanchau and I's wishes. It really means a lot to us, and we sincerely thank you for it. I'm not going to delete this thread, but we may start deleting threads in the future. We always prefer to educate rather than delete/ban/suspend/etc., and leaving this thread up will help other users understand what we're trying to accomplish. I would like to ask, though, that everyone do their best to try to become one family and leave the past behind. I know this is easier said than done. Obviously I have no idea what happened over there, but from the few things I've read, I can understand why people want to talk about it. What happened doesn't sound like something that's easy to just forget. But for everyone's sake, I think the faster we can move past it, the better, because we have so much to look forward to as a group once we've left the past behind. So please, as much as possible, let's all try to stop using "us" and "them", let's try not to mention other dating sites, and let's all just have some fun here meeting all the great people we're so lucky to have on the site, new and old. Thanks everyone! Mike |

Hi folks,
If you meet or see someone who you think is a scammer, please use the "Report Abuse" button on their profile to let us know. That's the best way to alert us so that we can investigate and kick them off the site if necessary. It's actually NOT a good idea to post their name in the forums. You might be mistaken about their identity, for example. Please use the Report Abuse button instead and we'll investigate promptly. Thanks, Mike |

Moved topics

Hey folks -
I moved a bunch of topics to the General Discussion section because they were really more appropriate to that forum. So if you're looking for a topic that you don't see in this forum, try looking in General Discussion. This forum is for new members to introduce themselves. Thanks, Mike |

Disconnecting singles...

Hey folks -
I'm moving these topics out of the New Members area. That area is really designed for new members to introduce themselves. Also, we know there's a lot of desire to discuss all the goings on at the "other" site, and we're trying as much as we can to accommodate it. But as much as possible, we do prefer that people not mention other dating sites on the forums, given that they're our competitors and all Thanks for understanding. Hey folks,
Just a couple of quick points: - The forums are public for all to see. You don't have to be a member of JustSayHi to read them. So I wouldn't necessarily be suspicious of a specific member - anyone could know what is happening by simply visiting the site. So let's not turn on our own or anything over this, and please be aware that anyone can read your posts because it is a public forum. - In general, we prefer that people NOT talk about other dating sites on the forums, given that they are the competition and all. We've been trying to be pretty accomodating about it given the influx of new folks, but now that our own members are starting to sign up over there, we'd like to ask everyone to please avoid mentioning any other dating sites in the future if possible. Thanks for understanding. Mike |

Topic:
whos viewed me?
|
|
Yeah we actually changed who's viewed me recently so that it only shows
people of the sex that you are looking for in your profile. This is just to narrow the list down to the people you might be interested in. So if you're looking for a man, you will only see men in your "Who's viewed me" list. You might still see some old Who's viewed me listings of women in your profile buttons, but those will be removed as time passes, and you shouldn't see any new ones appear any longer. Hope that helps clarify things. Mike |

Lex -
Two fantastic posts. Thanks so much for making them. Vanchau and I try to stay out of the way of the discussions most of the time, but I just wanted to chime in quickly here to make a few minor points: - First, all of you are what make the site great. The members ARE the site - without you guys, JustSayHi would just be a bunch of computers, and what fun would that be. - Because you guys are what makes the site run, I can't promise that the site won't change. It's really up to you guys. When new people come in, or when old people leave, it's how you treat them and how you represent yourselves that will make the site what you want it to be. - The things I can promise are that we will do our best to treat everyone on the site fairly and with respect as long as they do the same. We will always have zero tolerance for personal attacks on other users. We'll never play favorites with anyone, new members or old. We'll make sure the few rules that we do have are followed at all times. And we'll do our best to always keep the site a fun and friendly place to meet new people and make friends or more Thanks again everyone for making the site what it is. We're really proud of what JSH has become, and we have all of you to thank for that. THANK YOU! Mike & Vanchau |

Hey folks -
First, just wanted to send a quick note to welcome all the new folks. We're always excited to have new people on the site, and it's really nice to see the new faces mingling with the old faces. And Alada, it was very considerate of you to start this topic. I hope in a few months, no one will remember who was from what site in the first place. We'll all just be JSH'ers Welcome all! Hope everyone is enjoying the site. Thanks, Mike Co-founder, JustSayHi |

Hi buttons -
Thanks for letting us know about the AOL issue. We'll take a look. In the meantime, you can try adding "no-reply@justsayhi.com" to your address book in your AOL email account to see if that helps. Let us know if adding us to your address book helps the issue at all. Sorry for the inconvenience. Mike |
