40 hours, plus a family alone is tiring for anyone!! I work 40 hours a week for one job, plus 12.5hrs of driving per week. I work 8hrs on Saturday's for another job. By Sunday's.. I'm exhausted!! Only to get the house cleaning done, laundry..blah blah blah on my day off!

Oh for cryin out loud. Wanna know what the uproar is about?? THE FREAKIN GREEN CARD!!! Without that addition, it's just a damn funny joke costume. But because there are several MILLION people in this country illegally ( ie : no green card ) target HAS to back down and pull the costume because someone in this country illegally might get offended. Citizens are offended by it too. Those citizens who think about other humans feelings do anyway. Oh, please. That costume, other than the Green Card, has absolutely NOTHING to do with humans. The head of the costume is a typical " Gray " alien. Without that Green Card as a part of the costume, NO ONE would have said a damn word about it. As far as I am concerned, one of the reasons this country has gone into the toilet is because way too many people walk on eggshells for fear of " offending " someone. I have lost 40 pounds in the last 6 months---Just move into a 5th wheel trailer with two 100 pound airedale dogs! Just moving there bags of food in here is good exercise! Walking them 3 to 4 times a day is a great workout. They keep the riff-raff away as well. Unfortunately, they keep the women away to!

Was on yahoo for 6 months and had great luck. 3 lady's I still talk with---one I drove 1100 miles to meet. We decided to just stay friends and still are---I'm going back in the spring. Secession will not happen in these here United States, you can bank on it. I wouldn't bank on anything at this time. There was a time when people believed the government would never start undeclared wars or take over private businesses or regulate interstate commerce or education or medicine. That all changed as each generation grew more and more dependent on the government and the State gave itself more power. Secession has already happened twice (once from Britain, once from the tyrannical Northern States), so there is no reason to say "it won't happen again". (especially considering the volatile situation the last 20 years of neocons and left liberals have put us in) If the dollar crashes, all the old rules are gone, and it seems the government is determined to do that with its wars and welfare (corporate and otherwise) and insane debts. I judge people all the time. We all do whether we want to admit it or not. I do however, try to stay open minded to peoples opinions and thoughts, as they might possibly have some insight or view that I hadn't thought of previously. Blanket statements about a group of people IS a judgment. It's also your opinion, which you are entitled to. Civility should be extended to everyone, christian or not, IMO. He made a statement in the Christian thread---Didn't he. Sounds like he made his point with your come back!! |
