I wouldn't do things alone for a while. Now, if I want to see a movie and friends are busy I just go. It's not that bad. And it's way better than hanging out all alone at home waiting for life to happen.

The fog takes a while to lift. And, not having sex won't kill you.

I made it out to the Taste of Joliet and to the Lisle festival to see two different country music artists. Also took myself, all alone, to the Dells. That was weird.

It would have been nice to have a buddy along when I was at Joliet Memorial Stadium last night for the Jo Dee Messina performance concluding the Taste of Joliet.

I live on the east side of Aurora. What does it take to get anyone to actually get out and play?

That's a given.

I remember my second husband saying, "I will never hurt you."

We were on the side of the road behind seven other cars that all lost tires in a huge pot hold and he slammed the door on my hand and it hurt like hell.

Course, it hurt a lot more later on when he got restless and unhappy and blamed his inadequacies on me. That's when the rubber really met the road and the tires blew up.

We have to give ourselves that little talk from time to time. It will be ok.
