Call Child Protective Services, they'll investigate.

I thought of that and even the off duty cop threatened to do that as well.

Might just do that Monday a.m.

The people next to me moved out since their only son was beat up getting off the bus one day.
They still owe on the mortgage, but went and got another house somewhere.

so they couldn't rent this place for a long time and now it's Section 8.
Then these awful animals moved in.
They park their car halfway in my yard.
The mother and father don't have jobs and they have 4 kids that scream all day long.
The youngest (2 years old!) wanders around the neighborhood and wanders off far a lot.
The mother is so lazy she just opens the door and SCREAMS his name.
When that doesn't work(it never does) she gets in her car and drives about 80 yards down the street looking for him honking the horn.

Today one of them threw a rock at a passing car. Turns out he was an off duty cop.
She and the dad totally flip out when the cop gets mad!
They argue it was just a pebble!
There is so much more but I'm too pissed to type about it.

Calling the cops will do nothing.

I needed to vent this!!

I'm curious to see what that email said.

And yea, don't sweat it. He'll be lonely loser for the rest of his life.

What sucks is a the end of the day I am obsessed with reading them and worse, guilty of sometimes doing something(or not doing) because of what it says.
Stupid of me.

I also once flipped a quarter on whether or not to quit a job.
Actually co-worker flipped it. Came up heads and I walked.

Once in awhile, usually when I'm bored and read everything else at work. Don't follow it as it usually lies to me and tells me "someone will come by you today blah, blah, blah."...I think horoscopes are written by romance novelists.

You may be right about the romance novelists.

And it always seems like you're ever so close to having it all!
It's just that Saturn and Pluto gotta get out of retrograde and once the full moon is over and if the timing is just right and if you want to hear your real horoscope click here!

Do you read your horoscope?
I do....daily.

Worst part is that I don't believe a word of what is written.
I read about 10 different ones and try to get an overall general 'feel' for the day.

Then again my horoscope usually just says "Boom!"

Although I firmly believe the planets have an effect on people.

The human body is made up of, what, something like 80-90% fluids? And if the moon can control the tides.....

I dunno.

Or am I just a victim of my own manifestations of delusion?

I don't believe what they say,to general.but I must admit sometimes they are right on it.somehow can't stop reading it.don't know y.cooky I guess.laugh

Yep....now isn't that weird?
Then again, if they guess enough, they gotta hit a bulls-eye once and a while huh.
Like they say, if they put 10 monkeys in a room with a bunch of typewriters eventually somebody is gonna have to go in and clean up all that mess.

Hunter S. Thompson is legend.

Was.

Can't believe he shot himself.
Seemed like somebody that would never do that.

How many times do you have to be used before you decide to stop caring anymore?

I'm up to incident #487,877.....and dammit I still have this little pilot light of hope.

p.s.
That J. Dahmer avatar cracks me up!

Do you attempt to heal yourself after each difficult issue faced?

I don't think God has ever given me the option.
seems I always have to go through a 'great catharsis' in order to 'move on'.

Hence, my life blows.

Could be a virus.

Also, if you use Firefox, sometimes it can be a resource hog. (slows down your PC)

If I were you I would Google for Avast free edition and download and install it and always let it run. Very powerful virus protection and it's FREE! (you have to register it but it's free to)

I am SERIOUSLY into PC's and I use Avast and I've tried them all....and it the best hands down.
Been using PC's for over 15 years.

As far as little icons down on the right in your taskbar, whatever is there is what's 'running' on your PC.

As already stated, quicktime is a video player and java is used/needed for certain internet functionality.
You can diasble quicktime from running and you really don't need it running in the background.
(when you restart your PC quicktime will run again...you have to go into msconfig and 'tell' it not to run on start-up.
(semi-advanced stuff...not sure what you all know about PC's)

But anyhoooo....1st thing is to check for virus.
It can be a number of things slowing you down.
I'd start with that.

Forgot.....R U running Vista?
Vista needs alot of RAM to run......when you 1st have Vista it's fast!
After a while it just gets slow.

live every day as a gift.

=====================

Just think if everybody would do that.....how wonderful a world it would be.
People usually take everything for granted too much.
