Being in love coupled with the desire to spend lots of time together
doesn't preclude one's need to have alone time. We all have the need to
be individuals and to deny someone that right will not likely end up
beneficial.
To take issue with your partner going out, shows insecurity which says
more about you rather than your partner. It can also seem controlling
from your partner's perspective and would only serve to gather
resentment.
To deny your spouse this time would only suffocate her in the arms of
the relationship.
Anyhoo, that's just my opinion...

Yes, that is certainly a double standard and we ladies deal with them as
well. When was the last time a responsible, adult woman was able to have
no-strings-attached sex without fear of being labeled something akin to
a slut?
Were this Utopia, there would be no double standards and all would be
