yes. love is the way. That's all we need to know. Doesn't mean it's easy though. Any kind of vision or meaning of it can be considered subjective but it doesn't make it any less real. Problems arise when people try to force thier own subjective reality on another person. Which is why there are so many divisions in religion. And then spirituality becomes political as it did when the bible was written under emperor Constantine.

We all have the free will to accept God loves us. Which is what He really wants. Then you can have all the fun of free will you want cos you then know what choices to make. That is true freedom rather than being constained by chaos. Love is freedom. "Which is what He really wants." So do you claim to know what God really wants? Yes. I would never Then you must be claiming to be God or to be a person to whom God has spoken. A prophet perhaps. I would never claim to be God! Yes He has spoken to me but wouldn't consider myself to be a prophet. But I have seen Him. And He/She/It/Alanis Morisette is beautiful. The most beautiful vision I have ever had. There are many beautiful entities in the multiverse and many of them will claim to be "GOD" totally convincing their beholders. One day you will realize that you are also God and that God lives and has life in and through YOU.. I would call that the Holy Spirit. The thing about seeing God was not what He looked like but the way He looked and smiled at me. That's when I realised He loves me. That's when Jesus began to heal me. I've seen him too. |

I feel that unfortunately the response to this questions has completely to do with each individuals exprience with people who have illnesses. I myself would probably be thorwn for a bit of a loop as I have had bad experiences with people who have schizophrenia specifically. I don't know that it would be a deal breaker but I can't say for sure that it wouldn't. That I think would have to do with your own actions and how you deal with it. Professional help is the key, unfortunately some people resist it for thier own reasons. |

Like a psychotic episode. Well that's what i'd call it. Since posting this people have referred to scizophrenia as a complex disorder where i would call it a complex condition. But there is an old song that goes "to see what condition my condition was in" and after 15 years of it i'm quite capable of monitering myself. I have researched my condition extensively. This is what people need to be shown how to do and the services are severly lacking. I've worked proffessionally with mental health patients since being diagnosed and it is education that is lacking. But if "they" (who are they anyway? The wizards?) don't even know what the medication does...........

To broadcast or not to broadcast? When one faces the possibility of prejudice does one hide in the closet or wear it on ones sleeve? Honesty and understanding right from the outset breeds mutual respect amongst the worthy just in case the subject becomes unavoidable as it does sometimes. I own my schizophrenia, no one else, just me. One thing to remember - You have an illness but you are NOT your illness. awwww a flower. Thanks. I didn't really post the original message to get into a general discussion about mental illness which i seem to have done, just wanted to know what peoples reactions to it would be in a potential realationship. |
