MY QUOTE OF THE DAY
|
|
I like this very much..so modern and radical, but it is based unmistakably on conservative principles My quote of the day is: One more dance along the razor's edge finished. Almost dead yesterday, maybe dead tomorrow, but alive, gloriously alive, today. ― Robert Jordan |

Lead or follow?

Women, do you want to be lead? Do you believe in it? Ever since I know what attraction means.. I am always attracted to people who can lead and good decision makers.. I personally don't want to lead. Even as I salivates over Hollywood Action stars, Rockband Icons and Sports celebrities, I believe in my heart & wish someday I will have someone who can take care of everything for me and I will just take care of him. Fast break...reality check: I know it will be scarier to back up those words with actions for me..will take a lot of courage in my part, since I am bit obsessive..when it comes to self control and independence. But my mind and heart is one in this: I believe, I need a man who can lead me. I believe, I need a man who can say and back it up with action, (doesn't matter who has bigger income..him or me) 'Be with me..give up your career..take care of me and let me take care of everything else' If he will tell me, that for him, to take care of everything else, we need to work hard together first, to reach our targeted goal, I will follow him. If he will tell me, I should stop working and focus more on him & family matters then I will. Call me idealistic and a dreamer, but this is the price I require for me to give up, my hard fought independence - One good man who can lead me. |

The world is getting smaller and smaller thanks to the internet and cheap flights, and amazing men and women are getting rarer and rarer ... Would you be willing to date somebody from the other side of the world, if the person was totally amazing and you had a great connection ? Seriously $2000 is nothing when compared to the pleasure of being with people you like. I had relationships with women from women all around the world since I was very young, and finally there is no big difference between meeting on the internet first and meeting in real, VS meeting in real ... The only limitation nowadays is the mental limitation. Certainly if she was the one I would travel the globe for her. Still it would be hard to leave family behind for me. Take heart Sir. Choose someone who would accept and understand your priorities. If she truly loves you.. then she will meet you halfway and compromise. If I may suggest: It is sensible though, if you would take time to get to know women, nearer your location, more accessible in terms of budget, or women you find, wouldn't be too culture shock with the lifestyle you have. I'm quite positive, there is someone who would be more than willing to meet you halfway, nearer and not across the world, if she really believes in her heart, you are the one for her. Saves pain and time in both parties. She could just be the woman in the same supermarket with you, the one you always feel incredulous, the way she chooses her meat and vegetables..lol All the best:) |

well, I have not found anyone who shares my beliefs and have a marriage proposal from a man I do care about alot and who makes me smile. I think that will have to be enough just to love him anyway and it is up to him if he wants to keep a good wife like me as he has said he is not a christian but acted better than my ex who says he was and hurt us to this post and the OP with all due respect are you focised on a label (Christian, Protestant, Buddhist etc) or do you have beliefs and values that mesh with those of another person? I have my church that I go to. my beliefs are not housed in the church itself. when friends invite me to accompany them to different churches sometimes and I have found many of our core beliefs are similar. there are many marriages in my family where the religious preference is not the same but the teachings are similar. these relationships appear more solid than some where the couple attends the same church, perhaps because they learn to understand each other. I agree with those who have said pray and be open to God's plan. Had been mulling about this post..:) Intuitive and very helpful in my end.. Thank you so, for sharing this ma'am |

The truth of the matter, at least to me, You are going to get branded no matter what. No matter what you do or say. Somebody is going to either think you are great. Or someone is going to think you are an a.s.s. I choose to say what I feel is right. Without meaning to be an a.s.s. I try to use tact. Which it seems to me a lot of people have no idea what that is. But even when you try to use tact, some people are going to get mad and hurt. That's just the way the truth is sometimes. A lot of those type people will brand you an a.s.s. They don't want to hear the truth. They want to live in the fantasy of what they believe is the truth. It's just the way a lot of people are. In my way of thinking, it's just the way of the world. I read this post twice Sir, because it reminded me of my double standard, 1 for others and 1 for myself (one in my long list of shortcomings)..I'm still working on it though:) Added to that, I have always been tactless ever since I can remember..this post made me somehow more determined to work harder on being tactful and be less disagreeable.. Very good perception sir.. All the best:) |

oh dear.. must have struck a nerve.. Based on the length of opinionated ramblings(R.I.P logic and facts) I was seeing from far (yes I actually stopped after reading a couple of lines deprived from any logic and facts), and time put into writing it , i'm sure that it was "MY" nerves which got stuck. Which again supports the reason of why successful American men choose to partner with their more feminine, classy, intelligent, well educated and highly cultured female counterparts from Europe, Russia etc ... I really can't blame them Aha! Gotcha.. Is it really hard to admit? that you read the whole post..and dont like the opinions/ramblings? You could just say. I disagree with u.. and say why you disagree:) On a serious note though: Brand is just a perception, and perception will match reality over time. Sometimes it will be ahead, other times it will be behind. But brand is simply a collective impression some have about a product. -Elon Musk You are a man. Your God designed you to be one. Work hard for your own money. Example: A $2000 is a $2000. On a lighter side! Two thousand grand is 2,000 GRAND.. Try harder.. uhm i mean work harder |

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." - 1 Corinthians 1:18 (NIV) More potent than those melmacian pictures, I've seen around.. |

Today I give myself permission to be my poet. To act out, touch my gold and sulfuric rhythms. I hear your whispers, feel your slow dance around me. I curse you muse then embrace you. We perform our rain dance till the rain breaks. Then naked, saturated our defiant war dance footprints breaks us. I ask Why birth poets, prophets and seers only to bury them again and again? "For humanity" you smile over your shoulder and walk into tomorrow. Heartfelt ..marveling as always, at how effortless of you to find the appropriate words.. both in poetry and in comments |

oh dear.. must have struck a nerve.. My take: i always admire "stylish and sophisticated'people my definition of classy.. While we always strive to be a better version of ourselves, i have to accept the fact, that even if I will live a hundred and 20, 'stylish' & myself is not a happy combination Sophisticated on the other hand, is something that can be work on, if you put your mind on it.. "Well-educated and highly cultured" a highschool geometry for me.. OUTSIDE MINGLE: First handshake: equiangular triangle tooooo Warm Hugs goodbye: Scalene Triangle 60 degrees to Educational attainment 60 degrees to Respect 60 degrees to My hard-earned money Education, phd's and masterals..is always impressive BUT, I am very particular with MY money.. No matter, how well educated you are and highly cultured, you cant intimidate me if.. I have more - save up 'blood&sweat' hard-earned euros in my savings account Whaaamm..Scalene triangle! Respect would always be in 60 degrees though.. For me they represent the academic world.. The academe.,they deserve respect whoever u are, wherever you are.. INSIDE MINGLE: overrated Highly cultured?- duh..semantics eh? 'more feminine (best part ever)' Matter of tastes, standards & kinks.. too broad a spectrum to discuss.. Since I just made a blunder on another thread, the other day: FALLACY AD HOMINEM, id' rather not push the envelope, while I wanted to be just really myself.. being my 'obnoxious' self.. would be 2 words: ominous and circus I'll concede, I'm more masculine than other men..more masculine than you.. That is why, I joined mingle.. I need 1 good man, more masculine than I am now. Preferably, someone who can bring out the 'more feminine' side ofme.. Compensations of not being 'more feminine': Fun.Food.& chess..metaphors or no metaphors Either "my take" inspires you in a positive or negative way, or makes you shrug.. ...Im just glad it makes your heart pump more blood.. Good for blood circulation. |

Wasn't too impressed with this one... The Search for life is about to end I was hoping the film's visual is at least as vivid on a technical level as the Prometheus.. ...not impressive enough.. it's not even thought-provoking for a sci fi.. |

MY QUOTE OF THE DAY
