The way I see it is it is your kids. But with me my kids have bad
reactions to certain things. And when I was a new mom I had enough to
worry about, I didn't want to worry about my daughters breaking out or
something else but I was a paranoid mom any way!! I did get my oldest
done at age 7 and she reacted and they were expensive earrings. But
everybody is to there own. Not everybody parents the same I just state
my opinon and move on!!

You know I did the same thing to my mom. My dad was the one that gave me
everything, I was daddy's little girl. I moved in with my dad when I was
14 years old. When I got my liscense I thought that was my ticket to be
my own boss. I put my mom through hell. My dad's problem was he was
trying to be my best friend and not my parent. By the time he wanted to
get back ahold of me at the age of 17, I was already moved out and moved
in with my boyfriend at 18 I had my daughter. Well my real dad pushed me
away, i don't speak to him much now and my mom and I are best friends.
As for the slob part she will grow out of it I was the same way and now
I am a neat freak, and have to have everything organized. It may seem
forever but she will come around. Just keep telling her how nice her
room would be if she done this and this. Even though you don't think she
is listening she is and later in life you will find that out. Trust me
she will regret alot of things when she gets older. Good luck!!

I am not afraid to die. The only part that scares me about death is that
I want my kids to out live me. The worst fear I got is burying my
children before me!! Congrats. Unsure for over coming cancer!! That is
great. I know what it is like to lose someone to cancer I have lost my
grandpa to it and Just this last May I lost my Aunt to cancer. I think
my biggest fear of dying would have to be the way I go, I don't want to
suffer from Cancer like I watched my aunt and grandpa, I want it to be
quick and fast no pain!!

this weekend we are getting ready for the big Ft. Madison Rodeo, and my
kids particapate in the lil spurs rodeo, they do the mutton bustin and
they can't wait!! I love this time of year!!

For those that are comfortable dating older people go for it but I agree
with alot of them on here. Later down the road they won't be so
appealing anymore!! For me i want a man that has more in common with me
not my parents!!

I think age is a big part!! I would never date anyone that is old enough
to be my dad!! I am not looking for a father figure! I want a man that
is around my age!! I think the reason a woman that is going after these
men that are older than them like say 15 to 20 yrs. older are looking
for a father figure that they never had. I had a guy write me that was
exactly 20 yrs. older than me and when I wrote him back and told him
nicely that he was to old for me he wrote back and was kinda rude about
it. Sorry but I have a Daddy and a damn good one don't need another!! So
yes I agree age is a big thing!!

Ya know I want to meet someone, or just make friends on here, but the
one thing that scares me is the way the world is today it's hard to
trust anyone!! I have talked to people on net and emailed and so on but
it never went passed that..

I know what you are going through my cousin just went through this crap
with her ex. And her and my Aunt went and got the kids from him. And it
was a 31 hour drive. But she hadn't seen them for 2 years. And she
finally got good money and everything else and got her kids back. If he
doesn't have legal custody of them you should be able to get him for
leaving state. I don't know the laws where you are but I am sure taking
him away from you is not going to look good in court. Because he is
looking out for his own good not the child and the judge will look at it
that way usually!! Good Luck and keep us posted on what is going on and

You know what I agree with you there are alot of golddiggers in America.
And it is both men and women. My ex husband had me work for the last 10
yrs. while he went off and did what he wanted. I am the one who
supported my family but I never gave him any cash!! It all went towards
bills and stuff for my kids!!

You know what honeyrobber I agree with you 100%. But to me I could never
pick up and leave my kids behind. That is my world. Any mother that
could do that is not wanting to take her responsibility. And I do know
some mothers like that and it is sad. But I say Hell yeah!! to you for
taking on the responsibility. It takes a hell of a man to do that!!

If you know his gf call her up and let her know just what a dog he is. I
did that to a guy cause he couldn't decide between two girls so I
decided for him let me tell you it was hard but in the end, I got the
last laugh..

I am from the southeast part of Iowa!! And I agree not to many Iowans on
here!!

That I don't need a man around to help me with anything!! I can work on
my own vehicle and do everything on my own even raising 3 kids. Pretty
much done that the last 8 yrs.

I know that some do it if they are not satisfied in there relationship
and not just sexually. I know that you should split but sometimes you
just hope that they will find out and end it unless you have been in a
situation like that it is hard to explain!!

I agree that a child should not be kept from there Dad. But I also don't
agree with the parents using the children against the other either!! My
ex is like that and a dead beat dad!!! The other is the guys where child
support catches up with them and then boom there gone onto another job
and we start all over again!!
