and probably when you least expect it. Don't rush. I made that mistake when I was 15 and learned a very, very hard lesson.
Just be who you are. Don't change for anyone. |

Coping with a loss...
|

You are lucky to be able to grieve. I spent two months numbing myself. while the cancer diagnosis was unexpected for my grandfather he was going quite fast. By the time he passed, i could not feel any god given emotion. Not even anger. And I still cannot feel anything.
With my grandmother, it's been almost 3 years and I am still half dealing with her loss. I cried for months after she passed. She was my first death experience and the first cancer survivor of over 20 years that I was close too. It will take time. How much .. only time will tell. I am sorry for your loss. While I'm envy you can grieve, I am also happy that you are able to deal with it the right way ... unlike me. |

So, I just completed my very own newsletter that I will issue once a month. The layout is awesome and I've named it "Change." The sub title reads, "What hurts only makes us stronger." Yes, I'm making changes in my life and my column is about the challenges and benefits of those changes.
There's a purpose for me producing this newsletter. I just haven't figured it out yet. I'm in the process of obtaining a second writer for her own column. I want a variety of people to be able to relate to the newsletter so my cat has his own column. Bam .. it's animal friendly now. I plan to feature artwork in the future. I know artists who have already volunteered. My goal is to have a serious, but amusing and positive newsletter. I'm down for suggestions/advice. I'm hoping it will "fall" into the right hands and eventually be published. But baby steps for right now |

It is illegal to chew gum in Thailand. Besides a fine, there is also jail time for any offense made.
In Terre Haute, Indiana, no one may spit on the sidewalk. In prundale, Cali, two bath tubs may not be installed in the same house. In Indiana, oral sex is illegal. In Alaska, it is considered an offense to push a live moose out of an airplane. In Massachusetts, children may smoke, but not purchase cigarettes In Oklahoma, tissues are not to be found in the back of someone's car. In NJ: It is illegal to wear a bullet proof vest while committing a murder. It is illegal for a man to knit during fishing season. In Bernards, NJ, it is illegal to frown as the town is a forwn free zone. Huh ... |

So... When you are doing the 'mutual match' thingy...what automatically turns you off and on to the next match (assuming that you don't read anything about the user). Is it pictures of kids, multiple people in the pic (and you have no idea who the user is), too fat (or too skinny), apparent lifestyle, etc, etc...we'd like to know! Well, let's see.... Kids Multiple people pics, no identification as to who the profile belongs to (have you noticed how one of them is always gorgeous, and the rest look like Nixon in a wheelbarrow?) Alcohol Cliches Bad spelling/grammar/punctuation "I don't know what to write here" (whose fault is THAT?) "Anything you want to know, you'll have to ask" (I'm not really all that interested.) Cleavage shots/butt shots (Reeks of desperation and "This is all I've got to offer.") There you are. I knew you'd show. |

The glassy-eyed stare with the overly-dramatic laughing smile of someone who is drunk or stoned, while they are holding another beer. A picture of a celebrity who doesn't have any need of a dating site....text-speak written as a header. The mingle logo.... excellent point. I agree with those too. |

I don't really use mutual match, but I've flipped through it. I disregard men without shirts, pictures with no face shots, men who look downright grimy, and men who don't seem to know what hygiene is. Oh, and blurry pictures.

KC has always been my favorite poetry book. If I had lots of money, I'd hire you to read me a poem every night before I went to sleep.
