I get some men that after a couple of messages give me their email and/or phone. I don't ask for it and I don't respond to that. I want to correspond through messages for a while to get to someone but everyone is in such a hurry. I don't think these people are scammers, I just think they are so desperate to have a relationship.

It could be either one.

The biggest clue in for me is when they list a religion and still message me. If they had read my profile at all, that should have scared them off.

Actually that wouldn't scare me off since I have some really great friends that don't believe it has never interfered with our relationship..Also dated a guy from TX that was an awesome man his lack of faith or my belief wasn't what split us up.. It was Distance and only distance with work schedules...

I'm not saying it's not possible. I do have a few friends that are religious. Most of the time, we just agree to disagree on that subject. However, it is a first clue.

What could I do with a 20, 30 year old "girl" other than sit on the edge of the bed and tell her how good I use to be. SMIRK

laugh That is the best thing I have read all week. Thanks for the laugh.

How some people are sooooo sensitive. I mean my goodnessspock

As long as you are being honest and speaking your mind then their sensitivities don't really matter.

No you won't. just remember however way it goes will be just fine
if they offer you job great but if not its good practice for next one

I would just add....

Would you really want to work at a place that wouldn't hire you? What kind of people are they hiring if not you? Scarry when you think about it. lol

I have felt that way about a student or two. These are college students mind you.

At least they weren't half your age dammit

No, when that happens they tend to be older than me. lol

Oh that is just mean... grumble

So it's mean that I tend to find women older than me attractive. Hmmmm, I have to remember that. I never thought of it as mean but ok.

blushing the groveling will now commence.. I read that wrong... I thought you meant the other way..
Please forgive me...flowerforyou flowerforyou flowerforyou

Now that is another thought.... I can see the thread title now

Women and or Men which do you prefer to be the aggressor... Or
does it really matter???

flowerforyou

That is a simple one. Doesn't matter, but my preference is for women to be the aggressor.

My daughter wouldn't breastfeed unless it was in private, but there's nothing wrong at all with breastfeeding anywhere anytime and the more mothers do it the more people will get used to it.

Very true

After this tread has went on for so long I have come to a conclusion for myself.

While pickup lines seem to work for my intended purpose of being an ice breaker. I realize I don't have the kind of personality need to make such thing work. ohwell Unless cory humor is what does it for the other person. Then I'm golden. happy

I thought a lazy date was when you didn't make an effort and that was your way of saying I don't want to go out with you anymore.
I do like lazy on the couch watching a movie in a clean house.
Not to keen on the spoon thing. I might be too old for that.

Never too old for that.

depends on who it is. If it is a person who normally does not cry, I offer comfort right away. If it is a person who always cries.. I leave them alone.

That is also a good point. Then again, if someone always cries from just about anything. I don't think I would be able hang around them for long.

Depends on you mean by lazy.

Cuddling on the couch and watching a movie? Yeah, that works.

Showing up and saying, "Lets get out of here." and then the inevitable question comes, "To do what?" the answer is, "I have no idea." These can lead to some rather interesting dates.

Showing up on a first date still covered in grime from a hard days work. Not going to happen. I'm out the door. (I've had this happen noway )

Not dressing up for a first date. While some might find that to be rude or lazy. I kinda like it. Lets you see what they are really like. From my experience, people that do this tend to be more open about themselves.

Going over to their house and find it's filthy because they are to lazy to ever clean. I'm gone. (Had this one happen to sick )

EDIT: I would like to point out there is a difference between messy and filthy. Stuff setting around is one thing. Food sitting around for days and the floor covered in grime is just disgusting.
