Im christian and I dont drink... I do smoke cigerettes though... which I have been working hard using the patch and the gum to quit. If it werent for sin, we wouldnt need church the same as we do. Christians are admitted sinners... This is News here? Also.... It doesnt say in the bible all sinners go to hell... quite the contrary. exactly, that's what i was getting at with my post after this. ALCOHOL...well, read the rest here and to those who are "bible people" then I ask WHY are your "values' so skewed? Really? Alcohol plays a part in: "50% of all battered wives" "85% of all homicides " "65% of all child abuse " "55% of all domestic arguments" "75% of all divorces " the rest here: http://www.alcoholthenarcotic.com/I_AM_ALCOHOL.html Also, a CDC study in 2002 indicated that 50% of all unwanted pregnancies (mostly teen) involved alcohol use. So while my state spends time passing anti-abortion bills (which are always overturned due to their violating the Constitution) they completely ignore the teen drinking epidemic....in this red "values" state the Christians IGNORE the teen drinking epidemic. NOT one ounce of prevention? And since another study shows that 50% of the parents are the ones GIVING alcohol to their kids...then WOW huh? How many of those parents are Christians? In Oklahoma you can bet MOST of them. IF only the Christians would read their own bible and stop drinking then we can reduce these ills....oh yeah Jesus turned water into wine...so forget about it...keep beating your wives and kids in the name of Jesus Juice! PS: According to the NIH and the NIMH both say that women should have no more then 1.5 ounces of alcohol in a 24 hour period (men 3.0)...anything over that is: wait for it. wait for it. DRUG ABUSE! As in what DOPE HEADS do...abuse drugs...so if you want to lamely reply to defend your drug abuse don't bother, facts are facts, you drink that crap then you are a dope head...and going to hell...lol. CHEERS! No idea what your talking about I already stated I dont drink... I also dont use drugs, speak publicly at institutions, treatment centers, and rehabs, and other places to help others with their alcahol/drug problems, and sponsor individuals on my own watch who need help. Your barking up the wrong tree my friend.. I havent drank any alcahol in over 5 years.. i dont know.. can you say the same? |

Spending time with my son doing something fun, and exciting..
A spa trip... A mocha latee on ice from starbucks (3 sweet and lows)whipped cream. A trip to see my friends in Florida. Time spent on the beach... Hot dog from 7-11 with my best friend. Plenty of money to but some cute outfits, new shoes, and a new car. Several orgasams. A visit with family. Oh, and lipo. I think that about does it for me. |

So.. Urrr telling us we dont know Jack? I have no idea if you know him. I started the thread due to some misunderstandings from some of his recent posts that seemed mean and nasty. He apologized to those of us he responded that way to, and changed his profile from bitter to a normal guy.

Missing something? Only you know what it is you don't quite understand. Maybe if I put it more simply. A Christian male or female cannot be a loser if he has but a mere mustard seed of faith, which is all God decides to give to him or her. We can ask for more. As long as I don't hide my faith under a basket or bury it in the soil, how am I displeasing the Lord? Now, if a Christian is totally ashamed of the Lord, the Lord said he himself will be ashamed of that Christian when they stand before the Father and all the the Holy Angels. Does this make any sense now? It is not for us to judge another Christian's faith. We cannot say "my faith is great than his therefore I am more worthy", or "his faith is small and therefore it is nothing." Whatever God gives us by way of any amount of faith is an honor to be treasured. My mustard seed of faith can still move your mountain of faith. Besides, if your faith is so great, pray that my own faith will grow. Judge by righteous standards not the way mere men judge. I wouldn't want to be around anyone that Lorded their faith over mine. I am glad that God had given to me what little I have, and no man can take that little itty bit away from me. It came from above, therefore it is intended. This little bit is all I have and I am supposed to love it. Aww. |
