Had a girl I was seeing stop us dead in our tracks, said she didn't want a relationship with anyone at the moment. Really, wtf do you call the last 2 months???
Well she added that she still wanted the physical side of it to continue but we couldn't do anything else if I couldn't suppress my feelings. SMDH
Needless to say, we haven't done anything since. Sex can be emotionless IF it is started out that way and both people are on the same page. But if there was an emotional bond/connection made, can't work - one side will always feel it that way.

Pain is just an emotion, you have to find a way to cope with it.
Ex. I was stopped dead in my tracks by someone that suddenly realized they did not want to be in a relationship?!? I had to accept her honesty in telling me, but still do not understand why. It was like we were in a plane roaring down the runway about to take off and then BAM! brakes on and we stopped on a dime - no idea how she flicked a switch and turned everything off, but I couldn't hate her for it. Mainly because I still cared for her. But for me to move past the heartache I had to fake some hate inside of me - I had to find a way to stop thinking of her and stop wanting to contact her, that worked for me.
I would probably still get chills if she ever decided to drop me a text but I don't hold my breath any more. It's only took me about a week to move past it that way. Don't get me wrong, I still think about her because nothing was ever negative but the technique I used helped me to get over her.
