I was told today that in our neighborhood that someone as been stealing gas from peoples vehicles. My neighbor went outside the other night because his dogs were barking and he saw someone in the dark running. And he shot the gun over the persons head and he said it sounded like they were heading to our place. He had gone to work recently and his truck was out of gas. And he said WHAT I know I put gas in it so he had to call someone to come put gas in his truck for him. So yeah we even have a freaking sex offender in our neighborhood too. That is not too far from us. So we have thieves and a sex offender. This neighboor hood is getting awful!!

Me and my neighbors would have a lotta fun if we caught somebody messin around here like that I guarantee you they wouldnt be doin it again

Thats what I say I want out of this neighboorhood!!! It used to be quiet. But now you hear from our neighbors about stealing their gas. And in our local paper how I found out about the sex offender was in that and it gave his address and I know EXACTLY where the road is because I used to walk by it all the time!!

The gas prices are up and they just shut down the Emperor's Club; BLAME PRESIDENT BUSH!!!

Every neighbor has a thief and a sex offender. At least one... of each that have gotten caught. Think of the ones that just weren't caught (yet). I'm sorry that happened to your neighbor, and that now you can be more vigilant.

People have been having gas stolen here too. You can go to almost any auto parts store and buy a locking gas cap. It might not keep them out, but it might give the guy with the gun a better shot. Most don't want to take the risk if the cap is locked. Takes too long to mess with it. I live in a crappy place too, but am in a pocket of the good part of the nieghborhood. I think I might just go do that today.

Screw callin the cops. Me and my neighbors would make the S.O.B. drink the freakin gasoline. Or get his @ss stomped. Thats how we deal with thieves.

Locking gas cap and a chastity belt! Then you don't havta move!

I'd just shoot the gasoline can as they are runnin away; then I'll tell the cops, "I only did it so I could see the perp. Didn't wanta shoot em, geesh that'd be inhumane!"

The sucky thing about my gas flap its not one of those that you have to lift the knob in the car too open it. So anybody can sneak up at night and just flip open my gas flap ugh!! Yeah maybe I should get a locking cap for it then. My cousin before where she lives she was driving something and it messed her car up big time someone had put salt into her gas tank!! And yeah it is immature to steal someone elses gas. The first time this happened wasnt too just my neighbor before that it was his brother that this happend too. So my neighbors brother thanks its the same person that stole his gas as well. Our dog barks when someone pulls into the drive and he barks when someone is walking by so he lets us know!! And I was just outside Friday night at my car and my neighbor that got the gas stolen from his dogs were barking that night as well when I was out there!!

Could always rig a spring loader to it so when they open it it flips a marble into their head...make them think twice about stealing gas.

On a serious note, I agree with Lilith. Anywhere you move you are going to have problems like this. If the thieves can't get what they want in thier neighborhood, they will just come to yours. They don't care where you live. Just be glad you found this out now and not after your car is empty and you are safer now from the preditor since you know where he lives and can avoid him. Just be careful. I know that moving can be an ordeal. I personally CAN'T move, and I don't think moving is a great idea, since the "bad guys" are all over the place. Get eyes in the back of your head anywhere you are. Why move somewhere where you dont know where the thieves and sickos live. You are one up on this.

Her luck, the marble may fall into her gas tank and make it sound like a really big sparay paint can bein shaken when she's driving!

That's why you don't rig it to the cap, rig it to the door of the gas tank. Attach the spring loader to the door right where you put your finger to open it and the other part to the gas cap, slide a marble in the middle and wallah! It is a marble gun...just make sure that you know how to open it properly...or you could lose an eye.
