Why have we done this to ourselves, Human life now stacked like books on shelves. To err is human, to forgive divine, But no regrets begets life’s shine. Gone is color of nature’s palette, Blurred to grey, and brushed with a mallet Will she return no one knows, But room must be made if she is to grow. Until then, we must surely endure.
