Today's "comedians" just aren't funny to me. Once in a while they'll throw out a funny line but 90% of 'em are just lewd and stupid. Jeff Dunham and the Blue Collar comedy tour are the only true comics that come immediately to mind.


These clips are from back in the day when they knew how to tell a clean joke and really make you laugh.

I always hit the pause button before they get started -
that way I can wait until they're downloaded and I know they won't be all herky-jerky while I watch 'em.

I think Foster Brooks was the funniest comedian to ever live.

I guess its all a matter of what you think funny is..a lot of the "old timers" just made fun of minorities or acted like buffons (Jerry Lewis comes to mind)... I think one of the funniest comedians ever was Lenny Bruce, but he was a social satirist and that might not seem appealing to some...
Goldie Hawn played the dumb blond, and made a fortune doing what came natural to her...more power to her, but I wouldnt exactly call her a comedic "genus"....

I like Katt Wiliiams, he the only person that makes me laugh....

I love the old comedy shows! Foster Brooks, Tim Conway, Frank Goshen...Carol Burnett, Goldie Hawn...real slapstick...Laugh in, Hollywood Squares, Carol Burnett Show, and when they used to roast celebrities like AD has in the clips! Love that stuff!
