I was married over seas in Tasmania, Australia. For me it didn't work
out all happy go lucky. I am not saying that one couldn't have a lasting
relationship over seas but you have to look at the bigger picture.
Things like culture are a big issue to consider.

SELF SUPPORTING" but they hardly ever pay or go dutch, and they rarely
pay for the actual DATING SUBSCRIPTION ON-LINE but merely post. i mean
reality is what it is....but who ever said dating was supposed to be
fair

Sorry Dewdrew, But I'm glad I wasn't in your shoes! lol I do have a
friend that got married nine months ago to a filipino. He meet her on a
dating site. They talk for three years befor she came here. So go
figure.

Most women are like that though. Independent...etc. With the paying
dutch, if I have the money I either attempt to pay at least half. But I
would like to think that most women want to feel beautiful and desired.
There are the few who think they KNOW they are sexy,
beautiful...whatever. But being treated every once in awhile is nice.

I wouldn't go overseas. For male or female. My dad was doing that and he
got screwed over by a lot of women. Then again, I don't trust a lot of
people. I give them the benefit of the doubt though.

I guess i define independant as self sufficient for the most part, but
considerate and respectful and courteous towards men and women.... not a
selfish self absorbed b__ch, ya know. And there are so many out there.
It gets to be a drag wading throught the smucks to find "quality" (yes,
by my definition, i guess lol) The value of sexy today I guess is
manipulating the males for free bees? Thats just a opportunistic
smooching looser....."not" knocking your answer at all...and talking
with you and not at.. lol okay. It is amazing how females in the work
force trying to walk of the ladder of success is sooo similair to how
men were in the 60's and 70's towards others in the dog eat dog world.
Everything women complained about about the males, (working long hours,
not helping enough at home, not comming or staying home after work,
hiding money, having affairs at work usually with leaders for sexual
promotional manipulation) the women are doing right back to the men that
are in their lives. And men are not even bitching about it. And there
were so many lawsuits in the 80'3 for sexual harassment but women do it
all the time as a manipulation tool to get ahead and who is suing them
or the company, not men....the hypocracy in our post industrial/sexual
revolution age is so thick...

Yes and the women who do it generally get away with it because most of
the men think with their penises instead of their heads. All they want
is a piece of ass, and there are women who will just give it to whoever
just so they can make it in the world of "dog eat dog." Personally I
would rather get a dick of my own and give them dumb B__ches a mushroom
print for giving other women a bad name.

it'd really depend on what you want and what you're looking for.

there's an equal chance of getting screwed (in the bad sense) here as
well as overseas.

so as long as you're not going in with 'eyes wide shut' (keep at least
one open), you should be fine.
