My question is this...why do guys think that just because they talk to
you for 10 minutes and they say that they are interested in you, that
you are going to really give up your phone number? Either they think you
are stupid or desperate--all I know is it takes more then...OH I AM
REALLY INTERESTED IN YOU, CAN I CALL YOU? UMMM NOOOO!!!
I don't know if I am overly cautious but there are crazy people out
there that really do stalk people. So before you go giving out your
phone numbers, just realize that this really does happen and just
because that act nice...it doesn't mean they are nice!! Happy hunting :)

Some people don't like typing in detail about topics and would rather
"Talk" on the phone because it’s less time consuming and its a more
effective way to get to know someone for the TRUE them (since you get
quick answers to questions instead of giving someone extra time to BS a
well thought out answer, plus you get to hear their voice and you get to
know their mannerisms). From an analytical point of view there is a
simple break down to online sites:

1 – Send emails
2 – Im’ing each other
3 – Talking on the phone
4 – Meeting

The faster you get to number 4 the less time intensive it is (some
people would rather not spend weeks or months of their life just to get
shot down when they meet at step 4). Granted on the Big Picture of
things that probably means they are not looking for just “Friends” as
much as they are looking for that special someone…Right?

However instead of giving out YOUR phone number might I suggest getting
THEIR phone number and BLOCKING your number (So it doesn’t appearing on
their phone when you call them). If you simply dial *67 before dialing
their number then your number will appear as a BLOCKED Phone Number on
their Phone (Thus they can’t get your phone number until YOU want them
to have it)

Practice the *67 between your cell & home phone to see how it works...

Have to do it in your time.When you feel comfortable thats when you get
that ball rollin.Not according to what someone else wants.

i give or get phone number cuz i'm the worlds worst speller and slowest
typer lol. but i dont do it in ten min. usaly 15 min. or so. lol

never ask for her number or give her yours, at least until she feels it
is safe. then it will be voluntairy, you will not have to ask.
