makes me wonder why people get married now days and its a fact that 80%
will get a divorce with in 7 years... what your take on this??

HUMMM mine lasted 11 so guess I had made it past the 80% that did not.

But for now just looking for someone that we see eye to eye on and can
enjoy each other company if it comes to getting married again it does
but not a must for a relantionship right now.

Besides a marriage is a two way street takes 100% efford from both
partys to make it work and only one to screw it up. So a marriage can
work if both are willing to put there all into it completely. Means they
must have honesty and trust in each other or it will never work.

13 years, i made it past the 80% mark before my divorce..
i don't know if that is a good thing or not.. lol@me

but as Txs mentioned very wisely, it does take two and 100% dedication
in order for it to work as well as incredible
communication..... takes two to make it and two to break it..

my marrege had a revolving door on it...only lasted a year...
nope ,,,not a record,,,I checked...lol...M.

Not so sure I want to get married but my new friend is trying to
convince me other wise later down the road of course:) We will see won't

i've only been married 3.5 i'll let ya'll know when i hit 7.

I have been married twice....once for 25 years...and once for 19 so i
would say I have a pretty good record....

I will have to let you know since my husband is going to divorce me any
day now.

guess I have set some kind of track record, was married for 50 years
before she was called home.

I WAS NEVER MARRIED AND PERSONALLY IN THESE TIMES MARRIGES MEAN
ANYTHING,NOTHING LIKE THE OLD DAYS.

think slug is trying to set a record, he was married 8 times last month,
all over nighters. LMFAO

mine has lasted 18 years... Divorced soon... so I pasted the 80%...
but..

First marriage lasted 3wks
second marriage lasted 5 years

So I added to the sastictis I guess lol@me also

i don't know why but i do know that i've had enough bad relationships
that i won't be getting married until i have known the person for a long
time(if at all)hope she understands lol

find that special one....you'll see!!!!! Marriage can be a beautiful

what contributed to your divorce? Arent u only supposed to get divorced
for the "bigger" reasons? I know a lot of people that got divorced over
petty reasons and called it inconsolorable differences.

Those are the ones that shouldn't have gotten married in the first place

I do not know about all states and the laws, in each one, but here in
TX. if one of the persons in a marriage wants to get a divorce the other
person is powerless to stop the divorce. I was married for 10 yrs. and
he died...the second time I was married for 13 yrs....I decided to
divorce him because I could not stand the abuse any more and it seemed
when he tried to drown my son and me, that was the last straw...the 3rd
time was with a guy I met on the internet...we were married Cherokee
style and divorced the same way since there is no common law marriage up
in the state where we were, we did not have to fool around with all the
laws and such...BEST thing I ever did was NOT marrying him legally!

i know mine lasted for 3 monthes before she started cheating so i didnt
get near 7 years.
