I liked it a lot, too. The ending didn't bother me. I did, however, get made fun of to no end because of how much crying I did with the scene involving his dog. That killed me.

One of the best movies this year! i work at a video store so i watch a lot of movies. If you buy the 2disc version there is a controversial ending and im dying to know what it is! lol

GREAT MOVIE
untill they killed the dog and tried to make up with it by what eles a lady and a little kid needing help ENDING SUCKED and got very boring |

good movie...i don't know why but i actually liked the ending too. (Stayed truer to the book) Anyhow, it was tragic and hopeful. And the guy became a "legend".

it wasnt a complete remake, yes it has the store line to it but it was a book and it was based off the book. Read it, very good book!

nope did'nt like it
It started out good and I was actually on the edge of my seat with fear the first hour or so.... but after the dog died  it got stupid

i haven't seen it yet. i like will smith's movies though, so i'll see it sometime.

I thought it was going to go into more depth after Smith got caught in that trap. It proved that the zombies (or whatever) had intelligence but it didn't go anywhere! I was dissapointed with that.
Still, a fun movie though
