I see your words.
Do you hear mine?
Protected deeply, veiled.
Hidden in the billowed,creased
Lace and silk that yields.

Thoughts before I realized,
I was made aware,
Formed a heart of searching
Before and now, worn fear.

Open, standing unclothed
Afraid to jump right in
Cold the frozen waters,
Ice, your mind shagrinned.

Do you feel me shaking?
Quaking in my heart?
Open to just letting go
Embracing this new start.

Do you believe the words I write?
The thoughts I've penned and now?
I am learning trust, again.
And will you teach me how?
