well here's my two-bits worth............no i don't attract emotionally unavailable guys, and seeing how i'm unavailable period......i wouldn't even try to attract guys at all.

i thought we were talkin about unavailability, NOT rejectionhuh

i attract women who are just unavailable in every aspect........

I really think we attract that which we are...

um so if i attract women with boyfriends then i have them too? i don't get it.......

No, I think that's a little short-sighted. I mean, in the emotional/spiritual/intellectual sense. If we are able to give (love/affection/support, etc.), then we attract those who can do likewise. Not always, of course, but, well, a bell-curve might be more accurate.

i have no problems with showing affection, being romantic , being supportive, being loyal and sacrificing for the people i care about but i seem to attract the exact opposite. every girl i've dated has ended up using, taking advantage, lying, cheating, back stabbing and on various levels being emotionally and all around mentally unstable. i can see how your logic might be on target sometimes but there is a significant margin for error there as well.

Ok, I see that, too. Maybe a distorted bell-curve?laugh

However, I can see, even when I THINK I'm in a good place with myself - if I find that I'm attracting those I don't find attractive (internally), there's usually something going on with me, of which I'm consciously unaware at the time.

I welcome that, though - it gives me a heads-up on what I need to look at within myself, if/when I'm willing to do that.

Now be nice about your ex fiancee! I have three ex-wives, the first passive-aggressive, the second a controller and unfaithful, the third secretive and unwilling to share. I have no ill feelings toward any one of them. They are who they are and they helped me to become who I am today. For that I am in their debt!

Are you emotionally unavailable?

Do you attract those who are?

Not much about you is lacking in my book. You're a great person and an even better friend. flowerforyou flowerforyou
