I've been in for a bit. I have done my time and was just chatting with someone and as soon as I told the truth things went south whats up ladies? Do you think a person can change??

my first bf when i was 16 and he was 18 got in trouble before i met him and he went to jail for 6months, were still good friends and its been 27yrs.. one of my cousins when he was 17 he was hanging around the bad crowds and got into trouble he stabb a guy 15times and was sent to jail for i think 20yrs but only serve 5yrs and he got married a number of yrs ago and had been clean for along time and they ended up getting a divorce and he is now married to someone else.. and his brother was in and out of jail, and he has clean up his act, so i would say many can change, thats only if they want to..
but i wouldnt date someone that was a rapist, or a murder

sure they can change. there are people in the world that haven't been caught or done anything illegal but they haven't changed

anyone can change if they want to. it takes work, honesty and seeing your past and learning from it

but isn't it life??? there are many out there that don't change or learn....prison or not.

my ex had issues (not law) but he held onto them and never grew or learned from the past.

you can't hold onto the past but learn from it (good and bad) and be a stronger, better person

You've gotten out at a bad time as far as the economy goes so you'll have to keep your head up. Put up with it for a while no matter what you have to do and Bush will be gone. We can't get worse so things will be looking up for you.

people do change,i have led a peaceful life but now im considering going postal at a mall......

never been to prison but have been to jail and i get shocked looks when i tell people that.

we all make mistakes in life,it's just a matter of learning from your mistakes

There are things in my past which aren't so favorable either. I continue to be honest about it. At least people know up front. Your doing the right thing. Keep a positive attitude. Yes, people can change I most certainly have. Don't let negative reactions get you down.

They invented public intox b/c of me,,,, I haven't been in prison but jail,,,, I don't think they have a number that big

I had a friend that got 3 DWI's in one night????? That is the kinda law we have here??????

If you are a decent guy, don't be discouraged by the women who are that shallow. Nobody is perfect, but if you've learned from your mistakes, that's all anyone can ask. There are lots of great people on here and I'm sure you will make lots of friends on the forums. Best of luck to you!
