That explains why I did not recognise the image in the bad side of East
Orange as Jesus. It was the Dreadlocks that threw me off. It was however
the first time I had ever seen Jesus as being a Black man as well.

something to realize is during that time period due to the geographical
location of judea there was still a ton of intermarriage going on
between ethiopians and jews and egyptians and jews. some jewish people
by result were quite dark complected. we have a lot of extremely light
skinned jews now because of the exodus into europe when jews were driven

all that important what or how he looked.It's what you belive, your

If I may direct you...Daniel 7:9 states that his hair was like wool. The
pictures we now have from european artist's is quite inaccurate.
Heatherrae made a small mistake in using the term Nazarene rather than
Nazarite. The whole chapter of Numbers 6 explains the difference. The
term Nazarite gives a better understanding of the dreadlock hairstyle.
The prophet Samuel,Samson,and John The Baptist were Nazarites for life
because their mothers dedicated their lives to God BEFORE they were
born. Samson was not a prophet..but his hair was dreaded according to
the rules of a Nazarite. I am not a christian,but I wear my hair in
dreads for spiritual reasons.
