Ecclesiastes 9:5-6

For the living know that they shall die:but the dead KNOW NOT
ANYTHING,neither have they any more a reward;for the memory of them is
FORGOTTEN.
Also their love,and their hatred,and their envy,is now perished;neither
have they any more a portion FOREVER in any THING that is done under the
sun.

excellent point! Then how many deaths must a human suffer before we are
TOTALLY and eternally out of Gods presence? That is what is stated in
Roman's. If there IS not cessation of life...then we are STILL in God's
presence...right? This is beginning to sound like Buddhist teaching..

thank you Richieg...I'm still a little confused about eternal
punishment(the way you explained it). if the PUNISHMENT is eternal then
I would have to be ALIVE to suffer it...but then the second death and
separation from God would be meaningless. The scriptures specifically
state that those who are not saved suffer a second death and are
eternally SEPARATED from God...I would appreciate if you would explain
further the differences.

"The fool hath said in his heart,THERE IS no GOD"

Thank you Richieg...I read your references. However,it does not explain
Rev 20:14. As stated;the lake of fire IS a second death...what would
you say that means to you according to scripture. Also, please take into
account Rev 21:8. Of course, the second death only applies to those who
are not saved....

Hi Richieg...would you like to discuss this privately? please glance at
2thess 1:8-9. If our punishment(suffering) is eternal...we would STILL
be in God's presence...contrary to the above scripture. God Bless You

Excuse me Richieg...sinners according to scripture..are sent to the lake
of fire...not hell. Rev 20:14 also explains what the lake of fire
is....a second death...that is all. Remember that whoever is not found
in the book of life will be forever out of the presence of the lord. If
you are suffering in hell for all eternity...you would still be in God's
presence. that would make many scriptures a lie. God is in HELL also
Psalm 139:8 thank you for your time

excuse me Richieg...glance at Rev 20:14. The lake of fire and hell are
two different things.

Literally Juliea, I would say I will enter into hell. The two words for
hell in the bible are sheoul(hebrew) and hades(greek) both mean THE
GRAVE....and besides, hell will be destroyed Rev 20:14. The first half of
scripture was written in hebrew, the second half in greek except for
matthew....so if my hebrew or greek is wrong in this regard, someone
please find my error and correct me.

Hi Richieg...the answer is no.
I'm not intelligent enough to make that choice. God's going to make that
choice for me one day anyway...

If I may direct you...Daniel 7:9 states that his hair was like wool. The
pictures we now have from european artist's is quite inaccurate.
Heatherrae made a small mistake in using the term Nazarene rather than
Nazarite. The whole chapter of Numbers 6 explains the difference. The
term Nazarite gives a better understanding of the dreadlock hairstyle.
The prophet Samuel,Samson, and John The Baptist were Nazarites for life
because their mothers dedicated their lives to God BEFORE they were
born. Samson was not a prophet..but his hair was dreaded according to
the rules of a Nazarite. I am not a christian, but I wear my hair in
dreads for spiritual reasons.
