“Games People Play”

At times some that come your way.
It seems games is what they like to play.
They will make your head spin.
And put goose bumps upon your skin.
They try to make you fall.
Just to watch you crawl.
They leave you with the question why.
As your sit and there and cry.
Wondering why they did this.
Leaves you wondering if love exists.
You take the time to give your all.
And they can’t even return a call.
Does this make them feel good inside?
Just to take away your pride.
What is it they gain?
Do they not know how much pain.
They cause or do they even care.
Or should they even dare.
Has it really been that bad in life.
And all they know to do is dish out the strife.
Just to watch as they take another down.
One day they will take the time to look around.
But it will be too late silent will be there phone.
And they will be left all alone.

Yes and it saddens my heart to see it happen to others. It is not an easy thing to deal with it tears one down to nothing. Until they finally can see it was not them but just a game for the other person. Within time they will see it was not the right one for them.

Nice poem Txs. You're right far too many are ignorant and apathetic towards the emotions of others. And its always saddening to see when someone is hurt by such callousness. Thankfully, there are people around who care to remind others that there is genuine concern out there as well.
