Thank you backinthesaddle for my post I have seen in the last few weeks countless posts about attitude and those who start them don't even realize it. Finding what your looking for is all attitude. Whether your looking for a friend or someone that is your soulmate. This site is for dating, to get to know a person that you can spend the rest of your life with. Anyone who tells me different is either lying to themself, already has found that special someone to fill the void, or isn't really interested in finding Him/Her. Winners come in first, and losers are leftover. Me I am one of the winners, and I know why. I became willing to lose everything to find that one special person in my life. I gave up the 6 figure income, the house, community respect, toys and a bad marriage. I walked away from everything to find HAPPINESS. I have spent more than 3 years traveling and searching for my soulmate. I have moved 7 times, 4 jobs and pissed in several bowls of Wheaties. I have loved and lost,and kicked in the teeth. The woman I have met are truly beautiful, they allowed me to find out who they are, yet did not accept me for who I am. They loved me as best they could, however thier love was for someone else. I hear and read on these forums almost every day about how people run from the word LOVE. I am amazed how many people truly believe it is TABOO to tell someone how much they love someone. Me I don't give a $hit who knows I LOVE Toyota Girl. I really don't give a rats A$$ who knows it either. You see it really quite simple how to find the one thing in life everyone wants to find, Love! To be accepted for who I am, To be accepted for what I do, to be accepted for what I do, To accept me with all the flaws I have. I am no different from anyone else on this site, except I am willing to do whatever it takes to find and learn more about my SOULMATE. Many people here I know here have Scoffed at me, they THINK they know it all. What a laugh, The only way to find the love of your life IS to seek it out in everyone you meet. I have and will continue to do this the rest of my life. I HAVE LOVED each and every lady I have ever been close too. I have been KICKED in the teeth more than once, and until the time comes that I find the woman of my dreams, I will continue to do so. On the 12th of this month, I WILL find out if Toyota Girl is that woman. If she will be the woman who accepts me for who I am. If she will love me for who I am, and if she will be my soulmate in this life. We will spend 10 days together, learning more about each other than any of you could find out in a year on the internet. We will play together, eat together, live together, and Love together. YES I said LOVE TOGETHER, for those of you who are afraid of saying this word you are afraid of finding it. The women in my life have and always will be the one who will make the final decision in our relationship. I know who I am looking for, I have written about her in my poems. They TELL everything about me, who I am, what I do, and most of all that I am willing to go the distance to BE IN LOVE. Someone very dear to me recently found her smile again and is seeing a special someone this weekend. She became willing to put it all on the line to find out. Are those who read this WILLING to put it ALL on the line to find it? This person is just like me in that she became willing. Just Like TG and I, she is willing to give till it hurts to find that one who will walk down that road of destiny. Who of you will be next to find The Love of YOUR Life? Attitude IS Everything :) G |

well said gryphyn!... i think alot of people on here are looking for
that special person but also i think alot dont want to take that risk like you are and also many people cant handle the rejection that they might get SHOTDOWN. like you said it is a gamble in what ever you do in life and if ya dont go for it you will never know... |

It is very true if you don't take the risk you will never know. Sometime
or other you have to put the past in the past and just jump in with both feet. Kinda like swimming you have to at least dog peddle or float in order to keep your head above water but you can't just give up or you will sink. Life is a journey you can either sit and let it pass you by or you can take a hold and run with it. I have taken my share of chances and have been laughed at and heard the jokes for me doing so but ya know what I really don't care I'm going to do what makes me happy and that is to keep trying till I find that one that we hit it off and can't seem to live without each other. I want one that gives me the attention I'm looking for and I will return that attention as well. But... I'm not going to force myself on someone either they act like they want to be with me or its just friends and we move to the next level. It's your life do what makes you happy not what others expect of you. |

Gryphyn, I have to admit I think you're a little Nutz but I wish you all
the Luck in the world! If this works out is there anyway to chooce to keep Ice Princess out of the family...lmao BTW...On the 12th, Do NOT forget to bring your Keyboards with you (the two of you can sit around and smack each other over the head with them)...lmao!!! Your right Sluggo I am NUTZ. It is a state of mind, and I like it. Life
today is much simpler than yesterday. Yes, I have several keyboards one of them is a wireless so I can get the momentum going. At $2.00 a piece for the wired ones its cheaper than a hooker at Thirsty's( Is That still there?) Nope, If it does work out I am stuck with Ice Princess also and the rest of the family. Besides she isnt all that bad once you get past that rough exterior. Don't let her know that I told you this, but Ice really has a heart of gold, she would kill me for telling her secrets. Thanks for the support we will let you know how things go. :) G |

It's not just attitude you have to have, you have to be willing and
wanting to take a risk, without taking the risk to open up, let someone in, and go for it then you are still just sitting there wallowing in your own self pity.Take a chance, take the risk...do it today becuase you never know when your time comes up, life is a risk START LIVING TODAY!!! jus lil ol CCP and her opinion :) |
