My daughter and I were enjoying something rare......a nice day together. We watched a movie when she got home from school, (it's raining out--good movie day), talked about school and my day. She got a gift card in the mail from her father so she made a list of what she needed and we went to the store.

By the time we left the store it was getting late, so we went to a nationwide restaurant for a quick dinner. It was quick alright......I ordered a steak and chicken dinner and she ordered a chicken finger dinner and a salad. We always take at least half of our dinners home for the next day (that is why it sounds like a lot of food). The food was brought to our table in record time............because they browned the outside of the steak and left the inside dark purple!! Not pink like a medium steak should be done, and even our chicken was slightly under-cooked....

Now the two of us don't feel the greatest.....so a nice day of Mother/daughter bonding has been ruined...

That sucks back several months ago I got food poisoning!! And thats the first time Ive ever had it too man on man. But I didnt get sick right off bat I got sick the following morning for some reason. So lets hope you and your daughter get to feeling better

Thanks guys, I don't think it was just the food that has us sick but the aggrivation of sending the steak back in three times and it still coming out purple.

My daughter was getting upset that I couldn't eat my dinner and she wasn't really enjoying her's.

I wouldn't have touched that meat. Its very very dangerous to eat uncooked chicken.

I know, Lee...... .......but I am a crybaby when my tummy hurts!!!

But we did have fun, watching "Enchanted", my 15 yr old little girl and I. (Cute movie)

Thanks guys.....Katie is hanging out in my room with me, probably because it is closer to the bathroom! The waitress was doing everything she could for us but when I showed her the steak after the third time she kinda gagged, herself, and told the manager she wasn't leaving that on our bill. Believe me the chicken was left on the plate too, and I told them throw the steak out. They didn't screw up the mashed potatoes though!!

sorry to hear that thats why dont eat in fastfood places and other its very bad for youmand little advise next check it out before put it in your mouth.

It wasn't a fast food place, it was a restaurant that we have eaten in plenty of times and not had any problems, but tonight was really bad.

That's so true.

Once at KFC, when I was pregnant no less, and has a queazy stomach I took off the fried part and the chicken had a breast tumor. It was so gross!!! Now I find it interesting. I guess all animals can get tumors. From that day on my oldest son would say "no chicken on the bone." for sure, but now I only eat fish and not often.
